Excellent Choice For My Daughter

It took me a couple weeks of reading reviews, shopping around and deciding if this would be the right choice for my 6 year old daughter. I AM SO GLAD WE ORDERED IT!!! My husband put this together on Sunday and she started playing on it then. For the last 2 days she has been glued to it as soon as she gets home from school. 4 neighborhood kids were over playing on it today and they all had a blast. It is sturdy and I really like the tan/green color. I definitely think we made a great choice!

Another great product from Lifetime! Their swing sets are the best. Kids love this climber. Super sturdy but you could move it around yard for mowing (with a couple adults) if you wanted to. A little trickier than the swim-sets to assemble but once you get a rhythm going it goes pretty quick.! Would highly recommend !!

Confidence Builder

I bought this for my 5-year old and toddler sons. My older son has always been tentative when climbing on structures at parks. We live in a rural area, and he doesn't get much park time or much climbing practice. This climbing dome has helped him gain confidence and coordination at his own pace, without other kids crowding him, and without him feeling self-conscious about being cautious. He can climb to the top, and if it starts to feel precarious, he just hangs down from his arms and falls 8"-12" safely to the ground, landing on his feet. My toddler likes to duck in and out of the bars and go inside the structure. It has been a fun piece and a nice companion item to their Lifetime swing set. With both products I purchased, I copied assembly tips from the reviewers into a document, and gave it to my handy woman to help with assembly. For the climbing dome, she followed the alternate assembly advice from one of the reviewers, and built the main dome in about 2 hours by herself with my son handing her tools (and me helping her lift one part, just one time). Attaching the black hand holds took about another hour. My play ground equipment was the first she ever assembled, and she said it was fairly easy. So far, this is a nice, solid piece of playground equipment. My oldest son is 4' tall and weighs 58 pounds, so I was worried that the joints would start to loosen with extended play, but so far, so good! Both boys really enjoy it.

Twins love it

Surprised how study but shouldn't have been. I'm a Ph.D. design engineer and mathematician and I love it. My kids love it. Assembled by myself, with kid encouragement, in about 3 hours. The bottom bolts are a royal pain and I wished they were a bit longer, trick is keep the first row of bolts a little loose and keep adjusting the "roundness" of the base and it is doable. Once the bottom is done, the rest is a breeze.

Great Outdoor Climber

I bought this for my twin 4 year old grand kids and they love it. It is just the right size for them to use. It took about 2 and 1/2 hours for my daughter and I to put together - directions were just a little confusing - but it really was pretty easy.. I would recommend this for anyone with little kids who like to climb.

My kids love this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned this about 5 years. This is still standing strong and sturdy. For several years my kids hung a swing from the top, and they found that real fun. The only issue is that it's heavy when I drag it so I can mow under it. Wait is being solid and heavy a bad thing?

No hassle assembly for my and my hubby

My husband and I spent about two hours one Saturday afternoon assembling the dome climber with little trouble. We found what worked best for us was to lay everything out the way it would be assembled before actually attaching everything. Our only complaint was for the instructions to have a little more detail rather than just a few words and two large pictures. Once it was assembled, we tightened all the joint pieces for my added piece of mind. Moving it from our driveway to the backyard wasn't that difficult either so I don't feel you have to assemble exactly where you plan on your kids climbing. We had talked about purchases some anchors to keep it in place in case of high winds, but we have yet to do so.

5'x10' Playdome

Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. I am out of town so I had this mailed to my 5' 95lb wife. She couldn't move the box so she took it piece by piece to the back yard and built it in less than a 6 hours total... She is great and so is the Dome, kids play on it until it gets too hot to touch... Then back out around 6 pm... I was a little hesitant dumping the project on the wife but she easily completed the dome so single ladies get'er done... Enjoy!

Best Climber On The Market

Safe and sturdy with awesome rock climbing handles for extra safety! The kids loved it as well as the adults that tried it. It was bought for ages 3 and 5 but we had climbers as young as one and even in their twenties! Climbers can only climb to where their ability takes them and it is 5 ft. at it's highest point meaning no one is out of reach. It has a wide base (10 ft.) which means no anchoring and it is easy for one person to move around the yard for mowing. As with any kids project, the instructions a less then helpful but if you read through them carefully and use the pictures, it shouldn't be too difficult. Assembly time was around 2 hrs. for 2 people (faster if you have more involved). I wouldn't suggest putting it together alone because you really do need a second set of hands to hold pieces and prop sides.

Great fun!

My 6 and 8 year old, and their friends, love to climb, hang and use this as "base" or a "jail". They've come up with so many different ways to play with it, and everyone who plays on it tells their mom they want one at their house! Took 2 people about 2 hours to put together. (not hard, just repetitive). Very sturdy (4 kids can play at once) but light enough for my husband to stand under middle and move easily. Great price and it was delivered quickly right to our door. We're very happy with this purchase!
