I have been sleeping on this mattress for about 3 weeks now and am enjoying it. The pillowtop is incredibly plush and you just melt into it. I am a stomach sleeper and have trouble finding mattresses that are comfortable for me. This one has the softness of the pillowtop, but still has support, which is working out well for me. I have not been having as much back pain when I wake up. One concern I have is that despite having a firmness below the pillowtop for comfort while sleeping, the sides of the mattress do not seem to have as much side support as other mattresses I've had. I do not know if this will effect it long term, but is one thing I will be keeping an eye out fur issues as I have this mattress long term.

This is exactly what I needed for my back and shoulder pain, it's very firm and keeps your posture well positioned. You feel recharged, relaxed and ready to work next day. A good sleep is very important for everyone and this mattress is definitely worth all the money spent on it. You can never go wrong with this mattress. Thanks for extremely well built and designed mattress. Totally recommend it and love it!

I had to become a side sleeper due to my CPAP and sleep apnea and developed a sore neck and shoulder on my previous firm mattress (which was perfect for my back sleeping comfort). The Lux Estate is now my perfect mattress....so comfortable, supportive and relieves all my pressure points! Better sleep, less waking up, less apnea events. It is a wonderful mattress!

Previously I had purchased a mattress that was for side sleepers and thought it was great until I had my hip replaced. With a new hip I found it was like sleeping in a hammock. My new mattress is wonderful, no more hammock feel but a luxuriously firm mattress that allows me to sleep comfortably and longer.

My husband likes his mattress on the softer side and I'm the opposite liking my mattress firmer--this was the healthy middle to both enjoy a good night's rest. The only thing that was different than I expected was the height of the mattress. It's not a deal breaker, but if you are purchasing the mattress online without seeing it in person, be sure it fits your headboard adequately. I'm redecorating our guest room and I think our future guests will also enjoy sleeping on this mattress

I give this 2 stars. I bought this several months ago and for the first little while it was great. But within a short time, less than two months, it was sagging where I usually lay and didn't recover. For the extraordinarily high price of the mattress I expected a long-lasting comfortable and supportive product. What I got was far from that. If I try sleeping elsewhere on the mattress I roll into the dip. The dip itself does not provide the comfort that I need for my bad back. What an expensive mistake this was.

We've had our Estate luxury firm mattress for almost 14 years now and it's by far the best mattress I've ever slept on, luxury hotels included. Even after vacations to luxury resorts I can't wait to sleep on our own mattress again! I always recommend it to everyone. I know it'll be ready for an update in a year or so, it's starting to sag a little in the middle of the sides, where we sit before getting up. I wish I could keep it for life!

We got the queen-size Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Soft Pillowtop mattress and we couldn't be happier. We were previously sleeping on a queen size sleeper sofa mattress, and if anyone knows anything about those mattresses, they are very thin and you can feel the bars from the sofa bed frame all night. My partner of 20 years is disabled, and he lays down most of the day, therefore, we just keep the sofa sleeper bed out all day every day and never fold it back into the sofa. When I was offered this free sample, I was more than delighted! We are BOTH sufferers of degenerative arthritis, and he has had multiple work injuries which eventually disabled him. Our previous mattress only made matters worse for both of us. He has insomnia and was up and down all night long with aches and pains. Now I am pleased to say that we are finally getting a good night's sleep! I haven't seen him sleep this good for so long! As for me, I am sleeping way better also, and for longer amounts of time than I previously was. I seriously do not want to get out of this bed! Our aches and pains are getting better by the day, not totally gone of course, but more tolerable. The cooling feature of this mattress is the BOMB as I am going through hot flashes! And we cannot even feel each other get out of bed anymore because of the motion sense feature, so less wakening. I cannot thank both companies enough, and I would HIGHLY recommend a Stearns and Foster mattress for a great night's sleep! We will never go with any other brand from here on out!

I purchased my mattress as I was working for mattresss firm I love the sterns and foster collection! I was having bad back and hip pain and upgraded my mattress to the lux estate I love it I sleep well. My husband loved it as well, the perfect level of softness for me not supper soft and not super firm. Only thing I wish it had the option to feel more on the tempur indulge foam and the mattress can be very heavy when I'm changing the sheets. I love the support of the springs. The weight of the mattress is my only con but as far as comfort and quality I'm super happy! I don't see myself changing this mattress any time soon definitely will stick to the sterns and tempur family for my sleep needs. I plan to add a adjustable base in the future, been thinking about it . Great mattress

support started failing at 3 months- now little over a year and it is unusable. inspection did not show pillow top indent of 2" (support failure below pillow top!). retailer blamed it on S&F - apparently no one makes mattresses like they used to? still paying for 200 lb mattress that we cannot spend an entire night sleeping on due to pain created by lack of support. purchased foam toppers but not enough- and now getting stuck in the trough and cannot even turn over. so disappointing. S&F uses money to promote branding but no longer on quality manufacturing. now mattress shopping again while still making monthly payments on this mattress soon to be out advertising its failure in the trash. be forwarned. if you are unhappy this company has impossible criteria for return.
