With our old mattress, we both felt like we were falling out of bed even when we were not close to the edge. My husband falls asleep immediately. He and I both seem to be more rested and having done nothing different than buy the new mattress, I have to attribute this to our purchase. Both of us seem to complain less about aches and pains. I attribute that to this very firm and supportive mattress that we are sleeping on. Was hesitant because it is an investment, but it is looking like this investment is going to pay off!

This is our first Tempur-Pedic mattress after using other popular brands. None of the other mattresses provided the firm support as this Tempur-pedic. It is impressive how one of us can move around or roll over and the other person feel no bounce or disturbance. It is such a solid feeling mattress. We can sit on the side of the mattress and it doesn't collapse. We both agree we are sleeping better, more soundly, and better rested. It is the best ever.

We had tried standard box spring mattresses, Sleep Number, and a firm mattress with a pillow top. None were as adaptable and supportive to our contours as this Tempurpedic. We picked up the pillows when we purchased the mattress while waiting for mattress delivery, and they are a definite 10 as well.

We love our new mattress. We are an elderly couple with many aches and pains. Both of us are sleeping better then we have for a long time. Couple issues, small ones tho, are unless you want to spend a lot on a set of fairly average sheets from temper pedic made specifically for their beds, it is hard to find really good fitting ones. Also be prepared to spend a lot for these mattress'. If you can afford it then it is worth it. But don't go into debt for it.

Pro: one it's broken in completely, it'll be super comfy. Getting there! And definitely an improvement over our last mattress. Con: taking way too long to break in, leaving us with sore backs some days! Company needs to start breaking in mattresses (every mattress company) prematurely prior to customer purchases/delivery!

This mattress gives the support with the comfort needed when arms and shoulders hurt from sleeping on your side. It does not completely cure all of the hurting , but it is better than the Serta I comfort mattress we had been sleeping on the last five years. It is soft with a firm under lay that keeps you on a level plain. I didn't think it would be better than what we had, but I was wrong. This mattress has improved my night sleep. AFTER deliverymen set up bed and we made up with new linens, we discovered registration form required serial number from a tag on underside of mattress on headboard side. My elderly wife had to completely strip and take off the mattress to find it. The tag should be more accessible or the delivery process should have done this in advance. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

So far I am still trying to get used to the mattress. It's not good or bad, just totally different from anything I've slept on. The associate at the store said to give it 30 days to get used to and I always thought you either like something or you don't but I'm trying to be patient, we're about 3 weeks in. My husband is adjusting much easier than I am.

My husband and I were miserable with the various beds we tried. We didn't want to spend a lot of money on a bed. But we finally realized we weren't getting enough restful sleep and it was effecting us mentally and physically. Would definitely recommend spending the money. Your back, hips, knees, shoulders, etc. will thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Go for this one if you like a really firm mattress good for your back! It's still soft enough to form to your body. I sleep very well on it now compared to any other mattress. Next one I get will be a super soft extra plush :)
