We have used this mattress for the past 3 weeks and haven't slept this well in a long time. Needed to transition to a firm mattress, and it has made a difference. The mattress itself sleeps cool. One of our biggest concerns was the idea of "sinking" into the mattress - that does not happen. We also splurged on the Tempurpedic Luxe Egyptian Cotton Sheets - again, amazing. This only added to our experience with this bed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Tempur Pedic. I have the TEMPUR-ProAdapt® Medium Hybrid. When I tell you I have switched rooms this new quality of sleep is amazing. It's like sleeping on a body contouring marshmallow. It keeps you cool through the night which is rare. I'm use to pillow tops and was very surprised by the comfort .Everyone in my home be wanting to keep the bed to themselves.

I was a big advocate of Tempur Pedic until now. I bought an advantage firm mattress 9 years ago. I loved it until it began to severely sag over the past year. They have a 10 year full replacement warranty. Warranty department said they will cover it but want to replace it with a medium support and if I want a firm support they will charge me $1700.00 for an upgrade. I don't want an upgrade I want firm replaced with firm. That is all I want. The difference between the mattress they approved(adapt medium) and the pro adapt firm is $800.00 retail. I offered to pay that but they refuse. They want $1700.00. This is not a warranty at all. The mattress they approved is not the most like my mattress because it is not firm. When I explain that to customer service they are very rude. So very disappointing.

Quite firm upon delivery, outgassing quite strong nearly 3 weeks later. Though the mattress softened up nicely after about 2 weeks and is now very comfortable! I am an average temperature sleeper and live in Massachusetts, I do not feel like this mattress makes me hot at night. Overall pleased.

We love our new bed and only wish we'd replaced our old Tempurpedic mattress sooner. We waited too long (13 years) until we found ourselves waking up with aches and pains every morning. After the very first night on our new Pro-Adapt mattress, we awoke refreshed. There was no break-in period whatsoever (even with the "firm" we purchased), just an immediate good night's sleep followed by another and then another. We won't wait until our backs give out again before purchasing our next one. Tempurpedic is totally worth the money for us. (We even bought one for our three-year-old as his first "big boy bed.")

Very happy with the way the mattress sleeps. Only complaint is its so comfortable and with no cording on the edge I sometimes wake up feeling like I'm sliding out of the bed. But, still love it and it's a huge improvement for my husband who suffers with a bad back.

I normally do not do reviews but this weekend, we visited the Frontenac store in Ladue,MO. Corinne- our sales associate was awesome. From the time we arrived and explained we were trying to learn about their beds, their bases, she took it from there. Had great questions from both of us, wanted to understand our sleep regiment and from there began demo process on various mattresses and bases. Great experience. We have never owned a mattress like this before and can't wait to experience it. Corrinne made this a great experience and it was a true pleasure working with her. We left there Saturday, talked about it and returned Sunday. Had a few more questions, tested bed again and guess what- made the purchase.Thank you for everything you did for us as I would highly recomend her to anybody in the St.Louis area that is ready to make a change in their mattress but maybe their sleep style to receive the best night ever. Initially, we thought the bed wasn't going to be comfortable--it's so different from a normal mattress. It can feel board-stiff when you first plop down on it, but that is easy to adapt to because once you're settled in for sleep, it's seriously the most comfortable mattress we've ever slept on. Those little annoyances in a regular mattress (like feeling like you're rolling into the middle when sleeping with your spouse, or the whole dang thing jiggles when she gets up at night) are 100% gone. If you can afford it, I highly, highly recommend. The one thing I don't like about it is that it can trap some serious heat. I sleep very hot, and even with the thermostat set to 64 F, I still sometimes wake up sweating. I should have bought the cooling mattress but it's more expensive.

We bought a queen size mattress because that's what fit into our existing furniture. The edge support is poor so you can't sleep close to the edge. That makes a queen size feel smaller than it actually is. The mattress is also warm. We were supposed to get a cooling mattress pad and pillows but they've been on backorder for 3 weeks.
