Bought first tempur-pedic king, firm mattress in 2011. It lasted a good many years. Bought second Tempur-Pedic king adapt, medium in 2021. From the get go I knew the medium was not for me. Bought our newest King Tempur-ProAdapt Firm an have slept on it for one month and a few days. From the Flagship store experience to the "white glove" delivery and set up has been a wise choice. It has taken me a couple of weeks to get used to the "Firm", but I am a firm mattress sleeper.

We got our ProAdapt Medium Hybrid at the beginning of January, and I was a bit nervous because I heard that some people need a few weeks to adjust to their new Tempur-Pedic. But it was literally the best night sleep I had in awhile the very first night. Definitely get the medium hybrid if you're unsure on the level of firmness, and if you don't like that sinking in feeling. The added springs combined with the memory foam is perfect. Also me and my fiance are a bit on the hefty side and it's still holding up beautifully so don't worry about your weight. I also no longer wake up with back pain, so that's amazing. I know it's expensive, but it's worth it. I spent months researching mattress brands, and I realize that these things are pricey for a reason. Honestly if you need a sign to get it, here it is. Just do it.

It's a very comfortable bed. It took some adjusting. I would wake with sore shoulders but I was warned about the break in period. I now don't wake to sore shoulders. We do have an adjustable base. I get hot sleeping and this bed isn't a cool temperature bed. The dense foam holds heat. We have an upgraded mattress pad that's suppose to help but I still run hot. Keep in mind I live in MN and it was winter when I bought it. My wife even said she gets warm. I think I'm going to buy the mattress protector the sales man said people complained about being too cold. Great mattress but holds heat.

I sleep very hot but my wife sleep cold. So this bed is perfect not as much cooling as the colling line has but just enough to keep me cold and her not. With my knee problem this bed is a life changer adding the adjustable base and I was all set. Tempur-pedic for life.

My husband bought this mattress and had it delivered to our house when I was not home. It replaced a Sleep Number model that we had had for almost 20 years which you hauled away. Gone-zo. This Tempur-ProAdapt Firm is so hard that I can no longer sleep with my husband. I now sleep in the guest bedroom on a mattress we bought about 40 years ago, topped with 4 inches of memory foam. Yes, it has obviously changed my life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pro-adapt series mattress with an adjustable base is an exceptional sleeping experience. The use of the zero-gravity option, while sleeping, is the most transcendent experience I have ever experienced.

This is our third time purchasing TEMPUR-PEDIC mattress'. They last about 10 years and are the best if you want a good nights sleep. We have the split mattress and both love that we can choose to lift our head, or feet and not bother each other while sleeping. Also the firmness is perfect!

We went with a medium thinking it was the same firmness as our first. It was not!! But there was no problem switching it to the firm, excellent customer service, by the way, and the second mattress shipped within days. It's just right, not too firm not too soft. We were many years overdue tossing out our original king size mattress and box spring. After visiting our local mattress store, and laying down on 6 or 7 mattresses, this is the one we knew we had to have, and since, we have experienced solid nights of sleep, and every little ache and pain we had has vanished. The price was worth it!
