I first chose the medium model of this mattress. After sleeping on it for a few months I discovered it was what was causing me to have a terrible ache back. The retail store would not switch it out as too much time had past. Tempur Pedic worked with me and replaced this model for the firm one. I am so grateful I now have the best mattress for my body. Obviously Tempur Pedic cares about customer satisfaction!

Bought this bed with high hopes, unfortunately after sleeping on it for 5 months I absolutely hate it. I wake up every morning and feel like I was punched all over. I had some back pain a year ago that finally went away, after sleeping on this bed at first all the pain came back and had to start physical therapy again. I hate this mattress.

I was sleeping on a 20+ year old mattress with a down mattress topper that was getting along in years also- needing a new bed I tried everything I could lay on. After going back to the same store 4 times I decided on the Pro adapt Hybrid because of the give and bounce from the springs and the promise of sleeping cooler with the cooling cover and the cooling layer. After sleeping on this bed for 3 weeks I was still very unsure of it, it didn't feel cushy enough and it is definitely not cooler (I sleep very warm). I recently spent the night at my brothers house sleeping on a firmer tempur-pedic and now my bed feels much more comfortable in comparison. So far so good, just really wish it was actually cooler and didn't hold the heat so drastically- even with cooling sheets. I'm really liking the comfort level at this point but my lower back pain and knee pain isn't much better. Fingers crossed for continual improvement the longer I sleep on it and get used to it. Just wish I loved it the way I wanted to love my new very expensive mattress.

Our innerspring mattress was 10 years old and we had been waking up with aches, pains and not feeling rested. Mind you, we are in our early 30's. We tried out all the tempur-pedic pro adapt models in store and settled on the king size medium hybrid. The adjustment period was literally a matter of days for us. The medium hybrid provides the perfect amount of support without being too firm for us and I think the transition from innerspring to memory foam was really easy because it's a hybrid. We look forward to going to bed every night and wake up feeling refreshed with no aches and pains. It has really helped improve our alignment as well. Wish we would have bought this sooner. We also bought the ergo base and love spending time in bed reading in zero gravity. Can't recommend this mattress enough! Pricey but well worth it. We have had our mattress almost 4 months.

I have a herniated disc in my back and my old mattress of 22 years left me feeling like it was hit by a Mack truck when I woke up in the mornings, if I slept at all. I bought and adjustable bed base also and it was the best decision I made in years. From day one my back stopped hurting when I slept and I could feel the pressure being relieved from my spine. Sometimes when I get home from work I lay down for and hour just so my back will fill better, I never did this before I bought this mattress. I can sleep all night without pain for the first time in years. LOVE this Mattress

I needed the ProAdapt for pressure point relief and I got that. Pressure point relief being important because my back often hurts. This is slowly lessening over time. It is different then regular mattresses so there is an adjustment period. I would recommend highly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first tempurpedic in 1997 after i lost my house in a flood. Had it until my divorce in 2015, she kept the mattress somehow. Did not get restful sleep until I GOT MY NEW MATTRESS and have been sleeping soundly ever since. My new one is better than my old one. Coupled with the adjustable base and I don't snore as bad, no sore throat when i wake up. If you want a good nights sleep this is it. I don't even get up to go to the bathroom 3 times a night anymore. I suspect discomfort was waking me, vacating my bladder allowed my joints to get back in alignment so I could go back to sleep every night. Now if I wake up I really do have to go. Life has gotten so much better. Mark

The mattress and frame are of great quality and very comfortable. The very difficult part is in getting our mattress and frame registered with tempurpedic. A serial number is required. Your chat line told us the serial number is on a tag found under the mattress cover. We remove all bedding and mattress cover all the way - no tag. We finally found the tag pressed under the mattress between the bottom of the mattress and frame. When you are elderly, this is a very difficult task. Now to register the bed frame. I'm a little worried about finding the serial number for our frame. It would be most helpful if you consider your elderly customers in the future. Maybe have the serial number printed on the receipt or place the tag in an easier location.

When the mattress arrived after the first night, they raved about how the mattress helped them sleep better, their backs were no longer aching and also that the mattress was so great that they didn't want to get up in the morning for work. I'm amazed how at how well I sleep on our Tempur-pedic! I have shoulder and sciatica issues; and I no longer wake up stiff and sore. It took a couple of weeks for my body to adjust, but that is expected whenever getting a new mattress. I now sleep so sound, no longer waking up every couple of hours to change position due to discomfort like I did with a different brand of memory foam mattress.
