I bought this for my girls for Easter. From the shipping confirmation I expected it to arrive Friday before Easter Sunday but despite the good weather it didn't arrive until the following Tuesday. I was however impressed with its sturdiness. We do seem to have a problem with the ball and rope coming off occasionally. It seems to work itself loose as they're playing the game.

I bought this for my daycare center and it gets a ton of use and has held up great. 1 of the kids took the cap off and we lost it. We fill with water because it makes it studier than sand and can empty it that way. I contacted Lifetime and they sent me a new cap at no charge. So thankful and will only purchase from lifetime from here on out!

This was fairly easy to set up. We had two adults and it took 45 minutes. One would take longer and be more tricky. Our favorite feature is the ball - great quality, see photo. The stabilizer bars make it nice and sturdy. Remember playing tether ball with the tire and concrete? It’s similar to that but not as bulky. It does not get in the way. The ball has come unhooked a couple times from the top of the bar but that is because we didn’t tighten the screw well. Make sure it’s tight. We have loved playing this together so much that we’re all sore! It’s a great product to get you out and moving. I would recommend this to people for sure.

We bought this Lifetime Tetherball system last year for our daughter's birthday, and it has been a big hit! Everyone in the family can get involved and play, and all the friends who come over love that we have this in our backyard, when they are used to only seeing it at a park or school. The ball and rope are still in great condition, even after leaving it outside since we set it up, and so are the pole and base.

We have used Lifetime products (from tables to basketball hoops) for years and always loved their stability and durability.  We have several of our kids that love tetherball, however they are big teenage boys now and we felt like we would have to bury the pole in order to get it stable enough and so we never bought one. But Lifetime was able to step up to the plate and design a tetherball pole that can handle the centrifugal force our teens will put it through!  The new stabilizer kit seems simple enough, but it provides incredible stability.  In the pictures, our 5ft 9in 14-year old is facing off with his 6ft 15-year old brother, and you can see that the base isn't lifting and the pole is holding true.  The other picture is our 10-year old showing off his win against Dad! The system is very easy to put together and you can be ready to play in 20 or 30 minutes.  We just used water to fill the base and it worked well enough.  Sand would make it even more solid.  We have a nice open area in the back that our kids are always walking past, and it only takes a few minutes to hurry and play a game and assert who is king of tetherball on your way through!  Love the system and love Lifetime.  Thanks for taking a classic and making it work so well!

We got these and gave them to each set of cousins last year. They have held up well in the winds of Nebraska and the cold as well as heat. I did add a swivel clip to the top to make it easier to take the ball off if I wanted to. The kids have an absolute blast playing it.

My kids love this. We set it up during the summer not far from the basketball hoop. They go back and forth between the two and come up with fun games. Ah the imagination of kids! I do wish the base were just a bit larger. When the adults hop in and play we can get a little crazy and I think a heavier base would help. Other than that this is the perfect pairing for a swing set, dome climber, or basketball hoop.

We bought this almost 5 years ago, has provided tons of play. We replaced the ball a total of 4 times, the hot Texas sun is rough on balls. Went to replace the ball again and the part that holds the ball to the pole broke. Called Lifetime and they replaced it free of charge. Great customer service!

We've had this for several years and it still provides a lot of fun for our family and the neighborhood. The set is solidly built, my only "complaint" would be the metal base (inside the plastic) leaves rust stains on the concrete. I did have one ball that would not hold air, after about 5 minutes in the store I walked away with a replacement at no charge. They definitely stand by their product name!

We got this new tetherball system to upgrade/replace our old one and we love it! Our old system was just a pole in the ground in the middle of our backyard. The best thing about this new system is the portability! We were able to use it in our backyard and then immediately move it to the front yard to include neighbor kids! The stabilizer kit is great. It stayed upright and stable whether it was a kid or adult playing. We filled the base with water, but plan to replace it with sand before the winter hits to avoid any freezing concerns. Assembly instructions were a bit confusing, especially when installing the split collar, but we figured it out and it was smooth sailing from there. We love having this new system and highly recommend it to anyone considering it!
