[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PineSol original reminds me of my childhood. The scent of pine, the feeling of clean it gives me. Just the scent takes me back to when my Mom was cleaning floors, or disinfecting the toilet and bathroom. Hmmmm....love it.

I just opened a new bottle of pine-sol and HATE the new smell, please bring the old original back or you will lose me. The new smell makes my nose itch and my eyes water and my house no longer has that fresh clean smell!! If you don't care about the smell, it cleans great but not what I want. If I knew which store I bought it at I would return it for my money back, that is how disappointed I am.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SWIFFER mops are nice because you can easily clean without a bucket of water and draining a mop. But they leave a dark grey residue over everything. Pine-Sol cleans so much stronger, removing stains the SWIFFER couldn't and with ease. I grew up walking into a room and knowing it was clean with the traditional pinesol scent. I'm a big fan of the original. No residue either.

I have always used the original pinesol on everything I clean. I even use it for my garbage cans. I use 1 capful and it cleans well. Thank you Pinesol.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are many cleaning products out there since Pine-Sol was on the market, but when you think about cleaning the floor in the kitchen or bathroom, Pine-Sol comes to mind. I haven't tried or sniffed other scents, but Original scent makes me feel like I cleaned my floor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been helping a friend with her cleaning business and was shocked to see her use pine sol/ water mixture to clean the wood floors but after seeing the results I now use it myself. Leaves the floors with a nice shine and no streaking.

I have asthma & am highly allergic to perfumes, and chemicals in general. I bought original Pine Sol because I am not allergic to the pine scent I remember from childhood. It was a huge disappointment. The perfume smell (NOT pine oil) gave me a migraine AND an asthma attack. I had to pour the rest down the drain. This is definitely not the original Pine Sol advertised.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I remember Pine Sol as a young woman. I am not sure why I took a break, but I won't again. It's good at cleaning the floors without a lingering powerful chemical scent. The scent is actually quite pleasant and very similar to actual pine trees. It gets the job done plain and simple. I do recommend for floors.

I think change is hard for people. I used the old formula for 26 years, but must say that the new formula cleans much better than the old. There are only two cons that I would say about the new formula. One is that I now have to wear protective gloves because this new formula really dries out my hands ( I should probably be wearing gloves anyway). Secondly, I can't put this new formula in a spray bottle like I did the old formula. Spraying this new formula is very irritating to my lungs. I didn't have that same reaction to the old formula. Now, I pour the new formula into my sponge or use a squirt bottle. This new formula smells nicer and cleans far better than the old formula. It cleans grout and cuts through grease and scum better. I believe in sustainable cleaning so if glycolic acid has less of an impact on the environment than pine oil, then all the better. I hope that you will offer this new formula and the old formula for those who have been disappointed by the recent change in Pinesol. For me, I like the new fragrance and the new formula better.
