I had Pine-Sol on my list, and bought some, making sure I bought the brand name Pine-Sol, not an inferior, cheap, imitation product. When I opened it and used it, I thought I must have accidentally bought the wrong brand. I knew instantly that the scent was not right. Instead of the rich, pine scent I had known for years, I smelled a weaker pine scent, along with a scent that reminded me of an old service station restroom. It also did not seem to be cleaning as well. While I was cleaning, I glanced at the bottle and saw that it was indeed really Pine-Sol brand. I started to worry that someone had "messed up Pine-Sol". When I could, I read the label and saw that it said "new longer-lasting scent". Well, it's a longer-lasting scent all right, but I just wanted it to go away. I feel that it's false to refer to it as original, when it is not at all the same. I'm disappointed and will have to start shopping for another brand, as it seems that my favorite cleaner no longer exists.

I wouldn't use anything else. Flowers or fruit just don't work for me. Pine-Sol Original Scent is the best.

My sister and I clean houses and everyone loved the smell when we cleaned with the blue pinesol..then you changed it and it now is a different scent with flower on the bottle and smells horrible! Why did you change it? We have been going everywhere trying to find the old formula...it is either that or change brands. Very disappointed....

This is my first product review. I did this one because I am VERY disappointed that the bottles are smaller but the price is not. I did an online purchase for store pick not realizing they had changed the size of the bottles.The price is not worth the product size. Consider purchasing from elsewhere.

You can use this cleaner in just about every room in your home from the bathroom to the kitchen. I use this to clean my floors, toilets, tubs, wipe down counters, & furniture. Everything also smells so lemony clean & fresh when I'm done. With all the germs that float around, Pine-Sol will kill 99.9 % of germs. Not only is your house clean from dirt, dust, grime but germs as well! Favorite household cleaner!

I am extremely unhappy. I manage a small guest lodge - with all pine paneling - and have used Pine Sol for all the general cleaning. Guests first comments are always about how clean the lodge is and how good it smells. I purchase Pine Sol by the case. (Four or five cases a year.) Just received a new case this week and when I opened one of new bottles the stink was overwhelming. I cannot use it. IF YOU CHANGE THE SCENT IT IS NO LONGER THE ORIGINAL FORMULA!!! I am returning the case and if I can no longer get the actual original Pine Sol I will be forced to find another product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pine-Sol Scented Liquid Cleaner — Wow, I was really kind of shocked at how much I didn't like Pine-Sol Scented Liquid Floor Cleaner. It's been around forever, it comes in all sorts of scents and seems to be a blockbuster seller; I'm not sure what all the hype has been about though. Recently a friend told me about **Pine-Sol **and was surprised that I had never tried it. My mother never used **Pine-Sol **and I have only smelled this cleaner on occasion when I would be at a friend's house or out about at a few different restaurants. So when my pal said I should try **Pine-Sol **I thought, sure - why not? Eh, should have asked myself WHY? First, the advertising is GREAT for** Pine-Sol - I've always thought about trying it just because all of the wonderfully witty ads I've seen over the years on television. In the commercials the folks always are delighted by the cleaning power of Pine-Sol **and how wonderful it smells. I must be in the minority, because I could not stand the scent. It was so over powering that I got an instant headache; granted I am scent sensitive but this is as strong as anything I've ever smelled before; it reminded me of the intensity of ammonia. I used Pine-Sol **as directed and it seemed like it would be a great cleaner. But it seemed to leave a weird, sticky, tacky film on my floor; this is not how I want my floors to feel, I want them to feel clean and like NOTHING is there. So even if I could get past the horrendous scent, I'd never be able to get passed how icky my floors feel under my bare feet after using Pine-Sol**.
