[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can always tell when my kids have not properly mopped the floor ... it lacks that fresh clean scent of pine sol! The job is not complete in my house until I can smell the freshness of pine sol in my kitchen!

I have been using Pine Sol original scent for 40 years. Recently, I purchased a bottle with the "new longer lasting scent" and was very disappointed. I used to love the way the house smelled after I cleaned with Pine Sol; everything, especially the bathroom, smelled so fresh and clean. The new scent, however, smells like a cheap imitation pine scent. It is horrible!! I have tried the other Pine Sol scents but always preferred the natural pine scent. With that scent gone, I will NEVER use Pine Sol again. After so many years of loyalty I do not know what I will replace it with. Whatever I decide to use, however, will smell much better than the new Pine Sol Original!!

It takes me back to my childhood where i remember my mom mopping the floor. ive tried the off brands of pine cleaners and nothing can even come close to cleaning like pine sol does. The only cleaner for me is pine sol and theres nothing like the smell of clean like pine.

I would compare it to the way some people like to have chicken noodle soup when they have a cold. It's tried and true and just makes you "feel" like you are taking care of yourself. When I see the shiny floor and smell the pine breeze.... I feel like I am taking care of my whole families' health by providing a clean, refreshing floor.

The scent always reminds me of the women in my family as far as I can remember. I have tried the new scented products and have enjoyed their cleaning power equally as well but as the tradionalist I find myself always going back to the original, as it reminds me of the days in early childhood cleaning my mother saying, "you missed a spot." That scent and the product always encourages me at the end of the week to keep a tidy house and of course the added incentive when my mother visits to not say I missed a spot with Lysol's powerful cleaning.
