[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE pine sol!!!! It has a fresh scent that goes thoughout the entire house. I LOVE the scent of the original. It cleans excellent!! I only use pine sol to clean with. And when I go to someone else house and smell pine sol, I KNOW their house is CLEAN!!! And it makes me feel good knowing my house is clean!

For the past 30 years every time I've opened a bottle of Pine-Sol I would recall coming home from school as a kid to a Pine-Sol cleaned home. Wonderful memories! In the past years my sons loved the scent so much they would take a big whiff from the bottle upon opening it..hehe. Recently however, I have bought 3 bottles of the Longer Lasting Scent Original Pine-Sol. As soon as I opened the first bottle out of the 3 I knew something had changed. It's not the same! I'll be switching to a different floor cleaner or testing out Pine-Sol's other scents if the real original scent does not return. This "new" scent smells as if perfume is mixed with pine. Sad to lose those memories.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I remember my childhood, I recall coming home from school to a home that always smelled like Pine-Sol. Whenever I smell it now, it takes me back and makes me think of a freshly-scrubbed home, and even helps evoke feelings of being safe and secure, the way a child should feel about home.

I don't know who came up with the great idea to change the original pine-sol to the "NEW LONGER LASTING SMELL", but they made a BAD mistake. This is not what I paid for and I will never buy this product again until I see that it is back to the one I use to buy! I want my old pine-sol back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I grew up on Lysol cleaning products especially the original pine-sol fresh. The scent always reminds me of the women in my family as far as I can remember. I have tried the new scented products and have enjoyed their cleaning power equally as well but as the tradionalist I find myself always going back to the original, as it reminds me of the days in early childhood cleaning my mother saying, "you missed a spot." That scent and the product always encourages me at the end of the week to keep a tidy house and of course the added incentive when my mother visits to not say I missed a spot with Lysol's powerful cleaning.

I have always used Pinesol and when I purchased my last bottle it was the new scent. I do not like it and will not be buying this new scent again, as a matter of fact I am not even going to use this bottle. It's funny how you relate a clean house with a scent. I hope ya'll will bring back the old scent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most people my age and some younger can understand when I say the scent of Pine-sol means clean. Many afternoons I would come in from school and the house would have the sparkle, the smell and the great feeling of knowing your mom cared about you and your home. The place would shine and you knew you were loved. I love using this original Pine-sol whenever I clean. It lifts me up in more ways than one.

We ran out of our supply of Pin-Sol and restocked at our local supermarket only to find the original scent had been changed. We should have been forewarned on the label. There are few perfumes that I can tolerate...especially artificial scents. They actually nauseate me, and this one lingers and lingers. The original pine scent of Pine-Sol is about the only one I actually enjoy smelling. This new scent is just wrong. We had to give the bottle to a local thrift store in hopes that it might still be useful to someone. I'm sure it still cleans as well as the origianal. I suspect the change was made to increase profit. Well... not from us anymore. I hope someone at Pine-Sol is collecting sales data on the "Original" product. It is used slowly, so a drop in sales may not be immediately evident, but until the label says "Original Pine Scent", we aren't buying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been useing this product forever. My mom used it and well I think I have tried every about every one of the different scents. I like them all but by far the pine is my favorate. I just love how you can use it to clean every thing from the countertops to the floors and even the bathrooms i think I have used it on about everything in my house, even dusting. I would tell anyone it works and leaves your whole home smelling amazing!
