The scent is very distinctive and powerful, the smell of a clean home!!!!! I associate this smell of the original Pine Sol with fond childhood memories when my mother cleaned with it. Now, I do the same with my family, even though they are my dogs. Thanks Pine Sol!!!!

I have always been "addicted" to the smell of pine-sol...not in the dis functional sense, but in the sense that if I wanted something to smell clean, I knew what to clean it with...even people that I know who don't really care for the smell of pine-sol have said that even though they didn't like the smell of the place they walked in to, they knew it was clean...That smell, at least for pretty much everyone I know, is synonymous with clean... Having said that, I HATE the new smell...I tolerate it because I buy in bulk and I bought so much without knowing that it was different...I thought longer lasting just meant stronger or something...PLEASE bring back the old scent...market it as Original and the new stuff as Fresh Scent or something....PLEASE...don't take this away

I would come in from school to the smell of a clean house - thanks to my mom who loved (and still loves) Pine-Sol. I still use her trick of putting some in the toilets - not only because it really does the trick of cleaning...but it makes the house smell great, like you have been cleaning ALL day long! ;) A little Pine-Sol in the toilets, a few sweeper marks in the carpet...makes for a neat house that looks like you slaved over it for hours! Thanks!

I loved using pinesol, it reminded me of my grandmother and my mother's home, but the new long lasting scent is not the same as the original. It smells like perfume! I don't like it. There was no need to change it, it was perfect the way it was! PLEASE bring back the old original scent, it was my favorite. I'm disappointed that I'm going to have to find something else to use. I won't be buying it anymore until the old original scent is brought back.
