I bought a bottle of the original sent in a whim to clean the floors in my new house. The smell is glorious! I read the back if the bottle and found out you can add the original to your laundry! I have two smelly dogs, so I tried it on their blankets first. No more dog smell!! Usually even after washing on hot with good detergent they still had a dog smell to them. Not any longer!! I'm using it to clean my counters, floors and laundry now. My only wish is they would make an air freshener that smells like the original because I want my house to smell like this always!

I have used the original PINE SOL for 30 years (?), at least as long as I can remember....I bought two large bottles of pine sol, when I used it today......as soon as I poured it into my water to mop, it had such an odor.....then on the bottle, I read 'new long lasting scent'. It bothered my allergies from the start....but I wanted to give it a try, so I tried mopping my floors with this, and the stink was so bad that I had to re-mop to get rid of it, which I could not get the odor off of my floor! It still stinks! PLEASE bring back the original pine-sol. I will never buy the new scent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product it has been my favorite for 25 + years. I also feel wonderful after using this product. The woderful scent it leaves after a good Sunday cleaning is WONDERFUL!!!! I love this product, please never change what you are doing because it's perfect the way it is.

The smell of the "new" original Pine Sol makes me physically sick to my stomach. I didn't mind the "original" smell; but this one is too over powering. I will switch to the lemon version of Pine Sol and never buy the original again. Please remember that many people have problems with strong fragrances that give them headaches, nausea, etc. I agree with another user who said she thought she would never go online to specifically complain about Pine Sol. I've used it forever; but I cannot tolerate the strong smell of the original any more. The smell permeates my entire house. Yuck! My advice: Don't mess with success!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Weather it is a dirty bathroom or the kitchen floor nothing says clean like the smell of pine sol. It is the origional cleaning product to my household. They have came out with a variety of products in last ten years that have a variety of smells. Pine sol is still the one that lets the kids know that mom has just scrubbed and tracking mud or missing the toilet would not be a good idea right now! I have even used a capful to add the fresh clean scent when washing up the tent covers and other outdoor camping equiptment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a child, I remember my mother cleaing with this wonderful product and smelling the clean fresh scent. Now a as an adult, I not only enjoy the scent but the disinfecting qualities of Pine-Sol. I have a cat and I regularly use Pine-Sol to clean the litter box area. When people visit my home they have no idea I have a cat.

My grandmother and my mom used to use this product. Since I've been married ans had kids the past 30 years I've used this product. I absolutely hate this smell now. I've purchased this with it saying original on it and it smells awful. Up until recently I was at least happy because I could buy walmart great value brand. I have to sit and open bottles of pine sol looking for the true smell but can't find it. I'm totally disheartened with not being able to find this product. I guess I'll go with Lysol products or water and vinegar. You have killed this product for me. If any readers know of a different company that has the smell of what pine sold used to smell like please leave a comment because all the bottles I've checked at store that say original don't smell like the good stuff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the original scent of pinesol . After I clean it leaves behind that fresh clean smell . I love it. I have always used the original pinesol on everything I clean. I even use it for my garbage cans. I use 1 capful and it cleans well. Thank you Pinesol.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use many different scents of pine-sol but original is my favorite it is not a very strong scent that chokes you but it last a very long time and it cleans everything. This helps me out alot right now because I am pregnant and alot of scents seem to be over powerful the first few mins of use and choke me when cleaning but I don't have to worry about that when I use pine-sol also its been the only thing that calms down the nausea for me at times
