Customer reviews for LG 6.3 cu ft. ProBake Convection InstaView Electric Slide-In Range with Air Fry forNever buy LG again
I bought this stove three months ago. The air fryer does not work. Instead of cooking faster than the stove, it takes four times as long. The button to turn on the oven doesn’t work to set the oven temp you have to turn it off and on twice… I am still waiting for parts for the first attempt at fixing it!

Life can be good with this oven
SMART WI-FI ENABLED PROBAKE CONVECTION® INSTAVIEW® ELECTRIC SLIDE-IN RANGE WITH AIR FRY has almost too many options and I will never use them all, but having an air fryer option built in has saved having an extra appliance on the counter and gets used often. Not having the dials on the back gives the appliance gives a noticeable clean look in the room. Easy to quickly clean inside with water and 10 minutes heat when it’s only slightly soiled. I use the wifi feature mostly to let me know when preheating or timer is done, shows up on my iPhone. The knock - knock feature is a nice option to quickly turn on the oven light and turns off automatically. I don’t like how easily the stainless steal trim in front of the burners scratch when pots are passed over it. The indicators on the dials that show which size burner is heating are too small and many times I turn on the wrong one. I think the dial should be lighted when a burner is on and a better indicator to show you which way to turn the dial for the different sized heating element.
Real nice looking and working Oven
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just had this installed this month. Love the little chime that it gives instead of an annoying beep. Love the features, and in case someone wonders, the back is cut out to allow the (6') cord to fit nicely behind it. With the unit raised high, we fit the plug under that cut out as well with 1" clearance.
Hello Clyde. Thank you for sharing your experience with your LG range. We're thrilled to hear you enjoy the unit details like the Chime and the smart design that makes installation easier. Poor design, high maintenance and dangerous
We wanted to use the range before we wrote a review. Now that we've been using it for about 3 months I can say without reservation we would NEVER RECOMMEND this model to anyone. Especially anyone with kids. The main design flaw in this is the front panel. In particular the knobs. We thought it was a good idea to have a range with the knobs up front so we wouldn't need to reach over hot pots and pans while cooking. What we didn't anticipate was how easy it is to bump a burner knob on by accident. These knobs are so easy to turn on, it's a legitimate fire hazard. It's also easy to accidentally change the temp and bump them off while cooking. After only 3 months of use, the cooktop looks like it's been used for a year. There are permanent stains/discolorations already that the recommended glass top cleaner can't remove. The ranges runs hotter than expected. If a recipes calls for medium high heat, we have to set it at 4-5 otherwise it burns the food. The air fryer tray is nightmare to clean. Cooked wings and it took 20 minutes to clean all the little bits out of the mesh. It also feels flimsy. Haven't use the air fry feature since. There's got to be a better tray for air frying. There is vent/grate on the back of the stove where the nobs would traditionally be - once in a while a crumb will get in there and it's a pain to get out.

Range/oven work great but a couple of issues.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After two years of use I think I can post an accurate review of the product. Overall we are happy with the performance with just a couple of issues which I will address at the end The good: nice looking stove, was easy To install. All the cooking features work great. Love the air fry feature ( ours came with the fryer basket included). No more deep fried French fries and chicken wings! We use the convection feature a lot and really does a great job on pizza. The stove top is relatively easy to clean if you should spill liquids on it. The self clean feature for the oven works well. The bad: as with many other users the ease at which the control knobs turn on by accidentally bumping them is a serious concern. In two years this has happened three or four times. Luckily there has not been anything on the stovetop so there was no fire. The lock feature could be used to prevent this issue but really who remembers to lock the control after each and every cooking session. The designers need to come up with something better to prevent this from occurring. Additionally, the controls are not lit up so they are extremely hard to read. This is very annoying. If the ambient light in the kitchen is not extremely bright it is very hard to make out the dial readings and the control buttons for the oven features. If these two negative features could be resolved, I would be able to give this product 5 stars.
Convection!! Not the best choice for all recipes!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Oven is ONLY Convection Oven!!! See below from Bob’s Red Mill Natural Foods: Convection Oven vs Regular Oven ! Like anything in the kitchen, an oven with convection is better for some recipes, while it may not be the best choice for all recipes. With any recipes that require rising, such as cakes, bread or other baked goods, you may have strange results with a convection oven.

Worst Oven Ever
This is the worst stove I have ever cooked on. The burners turn on if you brush against them. Too many times I’ve walked by it and the burner was just on. I have had it for about two years, then something in the computer broke. None of the burners work like they should. My only options are low and high. I called to see if it was still under warranty and it is not. It has ONE YEAR warranty. The product is garbage and they know it.
Hey there! The safety and reliability of your cooking experience are top priorities for us. If the burners are activating unintentionally, it could be due to the knob or control mechanisms, and we’d like to assist. Please reach out to us directly on social @LGUSSupport or through with your contact information so we can explore options to address your concerns. We're here to help you get back to cooking your favorite meals your family loves. ^ Diego
Excellent extras!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the size of the fridge and the different ice options! The availability of seeing inside is a nice bonus. I will say, the doors open in a way the necessitates a wider space than advertised and can be a little bulky/ annoying.
Disappointing
Purchached in fall of 2022. Nice style but safety concerns with the knobs. You can inadvertently turn on burners by bumping against them. Or you can ruin a meal. I had a knob set at simmer low. I burnt a pot of soup because the knob ended up on 3. I must have bumped against it and moved it. I can see the company discontinuing this model due to this problem. I wiil never buy a stove like this again as a result. Knobs are unsafe and can be a fire hazard.

Quiet and feature-rich
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this stove to replace a 12 yr old Bosch. We hated the Bosch because it was loud, and we feared getting another convection oven because of it. Upon delivery, they turned on the oven and it was as quiet as our (really quiet) dishwasher. We were delighted! And it looks great! Overall, we’re extremely satisfied. Waiting for our LG frig to arrive on Friday!!
