I bought this because of the great reviews I read, all were good , now I am here to say that for the price of this pergola, I was highly disappointed that the posts are hollow and they used 2 pieces of wood GLUED together to make each side. Wow, mine sat outside until I got it put up, and every post started separating. I called and told them and they sent more posts, the bottom they put a solid piece in the opening to make it look solid but other end is wide open! I am very disappointed in the quality of this product, beware

I needed replacement parts on 2 items. I spoke with Payton and she asked what I needed and where to send them. How great that is where I was not challenged on what happened. It is rare today to talk to da friendly and helpful customer service agent who I'm sure is reflecting the attitude of the entire company. I would highly recommend products from Backyard Discovery.

We were not disappointed! The overall experience and completed result was amazing. It has since provided comfort, relaxation and a place for our family to enjoy being outdoors. The installation was simple and we had no issues. We added lighting, fan, blinds and seamless gutters to match. Thank you Backyard Discovery for a wonderful product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had our gazebo for about 5 months and put it by our pool for shade in the summer. It was fantastic. Made it tolerable to enjoy the pool during the day in July and August. We used the Ilea Dignitet tension curtain wire and hung sheer curtains for some privacy. We hired a contractor to put it together because we just didn’t have the time. The instructions are 99 pages long! It ended up costing us just as much as the gazebo for assembly but we still think it was worth it and the value was good. It is a gorgeous gazebo that’s held up to some strong storms. In the off season we’ve put furniture in the middle of it and it does offer some protection although things will get wet in a big Texas thunderstorm.

Wow. Great Buy. Would rarely go out to our backyard as the Florida weather can be brutal. But now that we have our new Gazebo, it is a pleasure. We enjoy sitting outside while having our morning coffee. My husband assembled it and then his brother and our son-in-law finished the final stage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Placed our gazebo on our deck instead of attaching a pergola to our full log home. It provides protection from the elements and is just what we were looking for. It appears that it will require little maintenance and withstand the elements.

Last weekend I lost my beautiful Backyard Discovery to a falling tree. I only had it 2 years and I am heartbroken. Couldn't believe this gazebo took the brunt force of a large tree yet it remained standing and prevented any major damage to my deck. And more importantly no one was injured. I will be replacing it with the same gazebo. I would never buy anything besides Backyard Discovery.

Had my 12x16 Barrington gazebo installed, they did a very good job took almost all day with 2 1/2 men. I have now completed installation of tv with swing up mount, ran electrical conduit paint black, installed two electrical box’s for power for tv and electrical box provided on post. Also installed 52” outdoor ceiling fan and a 120” crank down shade to block the sun in the afternoon. Very pleased the way it turned out.

This is an extremely well engineered item. I was contemplating building a gazebo from blueprints but I opted to get the Cordova. I was expecting to sacrifice some quality for the reduced amount of time that I would have to spend assembling and constructing it. What a surprise! The quality of this unit far exceeds my expectations. It is really a fantastic unit and worth every penny.
