I have several dash mini appliances. All of them raise up and cook the top. I was expecting the same with the griddle. I bought it so I wouldn't have to flip pancakes or anything else. However nothing I tried reachesThe top and I have to flip anyway. It cooks great but have trouble flipping since I had a stroke.

I bought this for breakfast but there are so many options for the bigger than expected grill! It heated up quickly and cooked well on top and bottom. Wish Dash would make nonstick ceramic coated products, but this nonstick coating works wonderfully out of the box.

It got so hot so fast--I tried 1 hamburger and can admit cooked well in 5 minutes with melted cheese on top however the smell of burning grease was actually nauseating and then I noticed all the grease on counter--unit too hot to move at the time---in the wrong hands a fire hazard! allready in the trash!

I have gotten several products from Dash and have loved every single one of them and have even gotten some for my sister.I would recommend Dash products to anyone. They are wonderful and have come to be my most go to items everyday. Thank you Dash for making my life easier and fun.

I have cooked several times with the Dash Grill and it's given me a headache. I wonder if it's due to the griddle getting so hot that it smokes, or the chemicals used to make the non-stick surface? It's also disappointing that the inside top isn't flat, therefore it's not cooking the top of your food at the same rate as the bottom side.

So many uses for simple Mexican dishes! Prepare the rollups with cheese and/or refried beans, then place them all (3 or 4) on the griddle at once. The best for making small burritos using the same method, then adding desired fresh toppings. I've also scrambled eggs, and added cheese and salsa for breakfast roll ups. Or try grilling corn tortillas until crisp then adding toppings for flautas.

I absolutely love this griddle. Glad I got the 8" instead of the mini. I'm sure the mini is great butI wanted to be able to have more of a variety in uses and boy, I'm glad I did. I've made pizzas, and bagel sandwiches just in the past few days. So many more things I plan onusing it for too. It heats up fast and it super easy to clean especially cause I use a tiny bit non-stick cooking spray. Buy it...you won't regret it.

We bought the griddle over 2 years ago and have used it almost daily for eggs and other breakfast foods. It still worked fantastically however our light cover had come off and esthetically we just wanted a brand new one. For the price, the value on these things is phenomenal and we plan on looking into their full product line for future purchases! We have a very small kitchen and so these countertop gadgets are priceless for us! Can't wait to try new items!

This is the perfect size for me. I can do eggs and hash browns at the same time for a fantastic breakfast. These little gadgets are great for an empty nester who does not want to heat up the entire stove top or their oven to cook a meal. Keep up the great work DASH :)
