I had the quiet comfort 35s and the base quality was better, but the qc45 have great noise cancellation and great quality overall love the way that it's built. Just wish the base was a little better.

I am very glad I bought these headphones. I flew to Chattanooga, TN and on the leg from Sacramento to Chicago I was able to watch a movie with these headphones on. They filtered out the loud plane noise and I was able to enjoy the movie.
