My journey with Shockz has been mostly positive, but not without its quirks. With the older models, like the Aeropex, I noticed a peculiar sensation when cranking up the volume - a tickling feeling at the contact points that was sometimes distracting. Additionally, as someone who appreciates a rich audio experience, the bass in these earlier models left me wanting more. The buds fit great. I'm really glad you came out with these. So much better than in the ear. I had the jawbone style before, which I liked but it the piece that went behind my head. These I forget I have them on. Music seems better quality too. I do use mine more for phone calls, but I'll probably listen to music more now since they sound so good and don't block out sound around me. I am having trouble getting used to the touch controls. I will probably get used to them, they are real sensitive.

I have tube issues where most AirPods/earbuds hurt my ears. These fit amazing and do not cause any pain in my ears! They also work well with my daith piercings in both ears! I can hear my calls clearly, still hear my kids, and they don’t fall off! I am so happy I decided to purchase these! I also love that I can customize the buttons to fit my preferences!

I had some of the, now, open run headphones. They sounded really cool, as I could walk around and be aware of my surroundings as well as my music. However, in the microphones kept breaking in them. Decided to try the open fit as a good replacement. I am pleasantly surprised, they sound better, well more bass, anyways, and our small and lightweight enough I can even lay on my side and go to sleep with them. It is a very strange feeling to hear what to me. Sounds like a concert, well hearing my kids sleeping nearby. Crazy cool! I will definitely recommend these to my other blind friends, I just wish the app was a bit more accessible. Considering this was the first generation of this type of product, I can’t wait to see how they will improve in the future. I am all in for and nontraditional products that can do unusual things. The only thing I would wish for is a way to be able to attach both of them together. Then I would not worry as much about my kid, throwing one of them.

I love my new Shokz Open Air headphones! The sound is incredible, they are easy to use and are relatively comfortable. My only issue is that I have relatively small ears, which makes the fit a little off. They mostly stay in place, but I have some ear pain later in the day because they don't fit as tightly as needed for my ears. They are an excellent product!

The right ear piece is perfect. The sound is great and the fit is perfect. Stays in while walking, jogging, biking, and bending over. The left, on the otherhand.... I don't even try to wear anymore. It has never fit properly, and I keep forgetting to email in. It is way too lose and slides off constantly.. If I wear the left I have to be perfectly still to hear anything. The minute I shift I lose it.

The fit and sound are really good so far. They are light and stay in place during my runs. What isn’t great so far is actually connecting them to devices. I use these with my phone, peloton row and tread and they do not easily switch from one device to another similar to my AirPods. It regularly takes multiple minutes to connect to my phone after I’ve used them on a different device which is a pain when your ready to start a run.

I love the Shockz bone conduction headphones as someone who occasionally works on construction sites and need environmental awareness, but as someone who apparently can't live without my bass I was looking for another solution. Low and behold these were going to be released one day after I was about to pull the trigger on a different pair of open ear headphones. After a week long business trip I can honestly say these were great in the airport and on my flight, great on the jobsite, and even great as a travel gaming headset chilling in my hotel. The sound quality is awesome, and the mic quality is a big step up from my Aeropex for calls without a doubt. I have sensitive ears like a lot of other people and I honestly forgot I was wearing them for hours at a time. Any discomfort was quickly alleviated by a slight adjustment. The ONLY constructive criticism I can think of is that these seem to need to be inside the charging case to enter pairing mode. I can't even actually complain about this feature as they have yet to randomly drop connection, staying paired to my phone literally all day long. These came along right when I needed them, glad I held on for one more day (to break free from the chains) Thank you guys, keep up the great work <3

I am OBSESSED with these! They are so comfortable and lightweight, I forget that I have them on…even while wearing glasses or sunglasses! I find the controls to be easy to maneuver while moving and I can easily hear what is going on around me so as to make for a much safer feeling run, especially when I am out on my own!

Initially bought the OpenRun Pro as a gift for my husband, and the OpenFit launched a week later. I'm glad I purchased the OpenFit because he ended up loving the independent esr pieces so much better for his runs! I tried them myself on a trail run, and they have great sound and are so lightweight that you forget they're on!
