I had to upgrade my phone and the newer phones no longer support jacks for earbuds. I purchased Shokz because the Bose earbuds I have (which sound great) hurt my ears even with the smallest ear buds. I needed something to replace my plugin earbuds and didn't need movie-quality sound since I use them mostly for phone calls. I tried the OpenRun model but didn't like the way they fit on me (I sometimes use them in bed and my pillow messed with the fit). I'm sure they would be awesome for runners! I returned those and purchased the OpenFit...WOW!!! THESE ARE GREAT! They fit great, don't hurt my ear canals and they are so light weight that I hardly know they are on. These are a game changer for me!

I love shokz. They have the best customer service! I have an around the head version that quit working and they sent me a new pair. I bought these as my second pair. The open fit ones stay on well too. I bought them for winter running under a stocking hat. They still hurt my ears a bit but definitely better than dealing with the piece in the back. Wish they had a physical button though for skipping ahead. Sound quality is great.

I was so excited to see that Shokz had come out with wireless earbuds. I ordered right away. I love them. The sound is amazing! The only thing I would change is for them to be a little smaller as I have smaller ears and wear glasses. I would definitely purchase again.

These fit well, and they sound good, and it's great to be able to hear surrounding sounds. My one, big, and really only complaint is that there is no on board volume control. I use earbuds quite often away from my phone, and it's a pain to have to keep going back to my phone to change volume if I'm outside camping, or doing yard work, or such. One other minor complaint is that the battery life on the charge case is not that great. Its okay on the buds, but the charging case battery is terrible.

The best fitting earbuds I’ve owned! Comfortable and lightweight! Sound is fantastic for “on the ear” style and microphones are amazing for calls. Very noise reducing but clear transmission! Because they allow outside noise in, they don’t have the highest fidelity for music but that’s not the point. Situational awareness when biking or running are more important for me and did I mention the amazing comfort? Highly recommend!!

Lightweight, comfortable to the point of not knowing you are wearing them, great sound but still allows you to hear ambient noise. If you don't want to shut out the world around you or better yet, it you want to be aware of what is happening around you for safety reasons or not zoning out, these do the job very well. Three improvements could be made. First, noise cancellation is not available which I understand is not so much due to the design and engineering, but is a result of the way sound is transmitted from these earphones to your ear canal which does not allow for noise cancellation. Second, no volume control on the devices themselves, quite a short coming, but I can't imagine they would have left this feature off if it could have been engineered into the product. Third, an easy fix. I found if you brush your ear, say to swat an insect, you could accidentally also brush off the earphone and as with all miniature earphones like this, if you are standing in a bunch of plants or other stuff, it's hard to find. If you are skiing and this happens, good luck finding it in the snow or anywhere else if you are in motion and it pops off your ear. It would be easy to have an accessory detachable cable that ties the two earphones together so if one falls out, it does not fall to the ground. Even if they both fall out, it would be much easier to find with a connecting bright coloured cable. You could also buy a similar product at an eyewear store, but Shokz could probably design something that would look appropriate for the earphones.

These are by far the best earbuds I’ve ever used. I can’t stand things in my ear, or covering my ears. These check all the boxes. comfortable, clear music, and nothing stuffed inside my ear canal, I can listen to music and hear everything around me. It’s great.

The sweet spot for controls is not very sweet. Couldn’t find it when I wanted to answer the phone or adjust the volume. I own a pair of shocks minis so I know that they have fabulous quality listening And easy to use controls. They are designed only for listening to music

I love that they sit outside my ear so I can still hear my surroundings when running. They do hit a pinch point for me but it is bearably. The disappointing part for me is the struggle to switch between different devices. It is not easy. I also find the tap feature subpar.

Long time Shokz user and just upgraded to the OpenFit. Been using about a month and I really like them. They're lightweight and I have forgotten that they are on, but they have stayed in place nicely during different workout types and running. I do feel like you can't hear as much that's going on around you while you have things playing when compared to the OpenRun Pro. These are very fast charging and the battery usually lasts for the entire day. The only charging issue i've had is that you must have the app to know what your battery levels are on the buds and the case. There's no indication of your battery level without it.
