I use TurboTax every year and am overall very pleased with the application. However, this year I spent several hours with customer service trying to get the application to authorize. I was pleased that the issue was resolved.

Turbo Tax walked me through the filing process step by step and gave detailed explanations to questions I had. This took some of the stress away from filing.

Turbo Tax is pretty good. There are some forms that lack explanation and TT does not allow you to go to some of the questions it asks to do forms, such as the balance sheet.

I purchased it for complex trust taxes and it was really great for Federal, but rating short of 5 stars because the option for NC state was not available.

I used Turbo Tax for business. Somehow I typed something that made the shares wrong. There was no place to fix it. I ended up deleting the entire document and starting over again because I couldn't find online help to fix shares.

When preparing IL filing, Turbotax defaulted to filing an extension. I did not select this option and was not given the option to remove extension from the questions. The only way I could fix is to manually go to the forms.

It was so easy to prepare my taxes! There were a few calls to the tax pros where I needed some clarification with the returns. The wait time was short and they were all very helpful.

In the business version of TurboTax when the K1(s) are saved to PDF, please include the tax year in the name of the file. Sometimes the new file will overwrite the file from the prior year.

I had some issues this year with downloading the state return and correcting some entries that caused me additional time. I called in and talked with Star, a Tax Specialist, and she was great, very friendly and helped me solve my issue.

The form for Trusts is very good. The form of S-corps is disappointing as it is unclear in various places but the lack of clarity can be overcome but it takes time.
