I've bought this brand of bike shorts several times in the past and have been pleased with them. This year, I wanted a pair of peach/sand for wearing under summer dresses. I assumed they would be mostly the same as before, and neglected to notice the inseam length of 5". Yikes. These shirts are shorter than I anticipated based on my prior experience. The S/M/L sizing hasn't been strictly consistent in the past, but at least the greater of the 2 sizes I bought for comparison is indeed the larger, and the sizes are consistent between the 2 colors. Members Mark, if you can't make the sizes consistent, at least make a good product. I want 7" length and at least 2 side pockets, with fabric that's thick enough not to show through when stretched across my bum. Otherwise, I'm not inclined to persist past the skimpy product to find the right size.

I bought Eddie Bauer exercise bike shorts at Sam's last year for the gym, and they are great, at 6.75 inches. These have a rolling waistband, excessive thickness at the waist and leg edges, and I'm not a fan of the 5 inch length, although if one has the shape, more power to them. Can't recommend.

too short. cost more for less material! bring back the 'everyday bike shorts' i don't want booty shorts!

First off, the fabric is surprisingly thick and "squat-proof" (not see-through at all!), but it still feels breathable and moisture-wicking when I’m actually working out. The high-rise waistband is the perfect height; it stays put and doesn’t roll down when I’m running or doing yoga, which is usually my biggest pet peeve. I bought the Black/Grey Heather set, but I’m already planning on going back for the Blue Cove. If you’re on the fence, just get them. They wash really well (I hang dry mine just to be safe) and feel like they’ll last a long time. Sam’s Club really nailed it with these!

Nice material but they run SO small. I sized up from my usual biker shirt size and they barely are comfortable on.

PLEASE make these exact shorts - but longer! I'm way past the age for short shorts - but still need shorts.

Yuck. Why so short? A couple inches are not worth losing all the purchases for these. Disappointing!

Runs very small, not worth the money. I bought 2- two packs and don't really have the time to return them.

These have a good feel to the fabric but won't stay put! They rude up and bunch up. The fabric is pretty thin. They run small.

i got the pink and sandstone...so thin and see through with and without undies. fit was fine, very see through
