Solid, soft, quality sofa
We just had our sofa delivered today and all I can say is that we are pleasantly surprised!! We recently got rid of our uncomfortable recliner sofa for this one. And this was a great decision. I will note a couple of things. This sofa does sit higher than a regular sofa. So if your are a vertically challenged family this may not be the sofa for you. Having said that; my husband and I are on the taller side with me coming in at 5'7.5", and he is 6'2". My tip toes just sit on the floor when I am sitting all the way back on the sofa. But this does not bother me because we have a large ottoman that we put our feet up on. So we may never sit with our feet on the floor. Besides the height, the seat itself is generous. very large. This is something we love about this sofa. The bottom cushion is attached, and this is another thing that we love. Some people said it was too firm, but we do not think it is. I love the fact that it will never slide around and push out from the back cushions. The back cushions are loose and they are even generously filled. They feel like they will not crush with a lot of use. The trundle bottom where the extra cushion comes out, slides smoothly. And the cushion itself pops up effortlessly. I can see the two of us with our two little pups all stretched out on a movie night all being very comfortable. The color matches the pictures very well and is a pleasant light grey. The material is softer then i had envisioned. I thought it was going to be a rough linen fabric and it is not! It is soft and pleasant. All and all for an online purchase, we are overwhelmed with the quality. I will mention that this sofa needs a 38" door opening to get thru. We laid it on its back then picked it up to bring it in with no problems. Great design, great cushion comfort and great fabric and hefty solid design. It feels like quality and our family would recommend this sofa for purchase.
