These towels are more of a cotton gauze material. I absolutely LOVE them! I use them when I get out of the shower and I think they dry me off better and faster than any other towel I have ever used. Last night I washed my hair and wrapped this towel on my head, it was light, the wrap stayed very well and it dried my hair faster than my quick dry towels! I love that they have a little loop on the middle so that they stay hanging!

I received these towels and my first thought were how different they felt from the towels I had purchased in the past. They have smoother outer texture with the loops encased in a looser weave outer shell. The care instructions call for washing in cold water and tumble dry on low. This means I would have to clean them in a load by themselves since I utilize hot water to help sanitize my towels and washcloths. A bit too fiddly for a utility item. After washing the towels we both tried them for our next shower. They were absorbent and lint free. They dry time for the washcloths when hanging to dry before going to the hamper was not any quicker in my opinion. This is not a product I would reach for again.

i like that theyre thin without the twisted threads but thirsty. they have a handy tab sewn in for hanging on a hook. My main complaint is the lack of color variety and that the "soft silver' color is quite blue in tone so it ended up not matching my decor but i did keep them anyways. Some people who are rough on towels or wear jewely while using them, may find they snag easily.

Towels don't absorb water, shed and are the texture of a hospital blanket. Do not buy these.
