I did my research and tried out different beds at different stores. When I found the Tempr-Pro Adapt firm mattress it gave me the support my body needed to relax into dreamland. Love my new Tempur-Pedic, and the guys who delivered it were great, timely and professional. They were early, removed the old ones & set up the new one all within half an hour. It's my 2nd Tempur Pedic, I bought my first 22 years ago and needed to update. The base is lighter than my old one & quieter, and the mattress itself is double the depth of my old one yet lighter to move for changing sheets, and very, very comfortable.

Over the course of a year, I would sleep on the mattress in the guest bedroom with each exacerbation to see if my back pain would go away. Each time with everything I took and did, my back pain would go away and I would go back to my bed only to have another exacerbation. After doing this back and forth, I realized my old mattress was causing the exacerbations. I gave up and bought a proadapt firm mattress and foundation for my queen bed and couldn't be happier.

The sides were finally getting very soft, I am now pregnant and began feeling more uncomfortable as each week passed. I had planned on getting the medium or medium-hybrid, but my husband and I went into a store to lay on them. We realized even the firm mattress had quite a bit of give once you laid down on it and that it seemed like the best option for us. We ordered online which was easy; the delivery company messaged us with a couple of delivery date/time frame options. They came in, took our old mattress, replaced it with the new one, and now we are on to better sleep! I am so comfortable on this mattress, can barely feel when my husband moves, and if it wasn't for our noisy cat I would be sleeping through the night. However, I wish it had been designed with the bed frame in mind. We had a bit of a struggle getting it set up and making it work well with the king-size frame I bought separately.

The comfort is amazing. I recently went on vacation. As I suspected I miss my Tempur-pedic. The only issue I have so far is finding sheets that fit the adjustable bed.

My wife & I finally replaced our old, old sleep number mattress with the TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid. The coil-layer sounded like what we were looking to strike a balance between too firm and too soft and it was clearly the right choice. I used to wake up in pain due to misalignment, but not anymore! I could go on but you get the idea: it's worth the investment!

I did my homework and found out that the Tempur-ProAdapt was the replacement for our old mattress. My wife was a little hesitant at first but she went along with my choice. What a difference! It was like sleeping on the old mattress when it was new. It may feel really firm but it truly conforms to your body giving you the best sleep. Our split king ProAdapt was our Christmas gift to ourselves in 2019. I was completely satisfied when it first arrived and I'm still sleeping soundly a year later. Also, I'm 300lbs and there hasn't been any change in the shape of the mattress at all. That's a first for me and makes the investment that much better!
