This is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. It is high quality. If you're looking for a "memory foam" type of bed, Tempurpedic is the best. This bed was a replacement for a Tempur-Deluxe bed that was 10 years old and worn out (no bed will last forever). When this one is past its life cycle, I'm sure I'll replace it with another Tempurpedic bed. I love the new temperature regulating cover on this bed, as it helps keep me cool when I sleep. I would definitely recommend this bed to anyone.

We purchased the pro adapt hybrid mattress for my husbands painful back but the bed not only helped his back it made a huge difference for my neck. I've had neck surgery and just lived with stiffness and pain. After sleeping on this bed for a week or so , I noticed that my neck and shoulders were relaxed with much less pain! We will never change to a different type bed now!

Both my husband and I are getting a better nights sleep and have noticed our backs don't hurt anymore when we get up in the morning. We are also sleeping cooler, no more sweating when we wake up. A little pricey, the most we have ever spent on a bed, but I think we made a good purchase.

At first I was a bit concern because I have never had a firm bed before. I was so use to a soft mattress that I was wondering if I made a mistake...., BUT now, I wished that I made this purchase a lot sooner... My lower back and legs are so happy now...! I sleep so well especially since I work the overnight shift, sleep is essential.... ! I need my sleep to function on my shift. This mattress makes my sleep during the day much easier to get. I was hesitant at first, I had heard that Tempur-pedic's could be hot to sleep on, and I am a very hot sleeper. I was also concerned it may be too firm, I like fluffy clouds, ha. However, I was so pleasantly surprised the first time I laid on it, how it literally felt like it was holding me. I have trouble with my hips hurting when I sleep, and this is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. I don't toss and turn anymore, and I don't wake up in night sweats. My husband also likes that it doesn't make noise when he gets up earlier than me in the morning, so he doesn't wake me. It is heavenly!!

I just bought my third Tempur-Pedic mattress. My 2003 mattress is still a running strong. My 2009 mattress is still running strong. I am giving that one away. The one that I bought this time is the Pro Adapt Firm, for the pressure relieving properties. I have never woke up with pains or aches. The mattresses just get better and better every night. If you are looking for a world class mattress, you found it. Pass the rest and buy a Tempur-Pedic. Those that think that they need a firm, think again. The Tempur-Pedics should be purchased according to feel. Just buy one, knowing that they are life changing mattresses. Also forget that they are a flat mattress. What matters most is how you wake up feeling. I write very reviews. I am writing this one for those that want a mattress that will out perform an of the other mattresses on the market. Love the new bed. Never found the serial number to register it. tried to get the buy 1 get 1 free--i guess that doesnt work if you cant find the serial number. I would highly recommend the bed on its own--no gimmicks. the bed and the frame are top notch. Have had for 1 week and my back already feels better. Love this bed

We bought this mattress to replace a memory foam mattress that we had for almost 10 years. We've had this one almost a year and now I spend most nights on the couch. It is very uncomfortable for my husband and myself. We don't sleep well, we wake up tired and sore. We have the Proadapt soft and it is not soft at all. I'm sorry but we slept better on our cheaper mattress. I can not recommend this mattress especially at the price we paid for it. We are looking for something else to replace it.

Our previous mattress was a Beauty Rest Black Ice Hybrid model that was comparatively priced (during a sale) and initially felt comfortable enough for us. During the first year I began to experience growing discomfort and at times pain in my hip and leg. Being 60 years old I thought it was my arthritis and began to look at ways to "live" with this mattress. I purchased mattress toppers and found one that worked well (My Pillow) but began to notice a slight sag in the sides of the mattress. I began a warranty claim and received 100% credit for my 4 year old mattress. I did my research (again) and came back to what should have been my first choice all along the Tempur-Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid. From the first night my wife and I fell asleep quickly and soundly enjoying a deep restful sleep. While I cannot make medical claims about the benefits from this mattress I can state that my hip and leg pains have been greatly reduce. Overall we are enjoying the best nights sleep that we have had in a while, it is worth the premium price for the quality and I don't think I can put a value on the sleep quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this mattress because I wanted a soft mattress since I am a side sleeper. I find the mattress very comfortable for my shoulders and hips. The mattress slowly conforms to your body shape once you lay on it. Unfortunately, I still find the mattress to be warm. After a few hours of sleeping, I find that I need to kick off my covers due to the build up of heat in the bed. So much for a good night of sleep. I was hoping the cover of the ProAdapt they advertise so well as being cooling would be enough to keep me cool throughout the night but I did not find that to be the case. This is a good mattress is you want a soft bed but you get warm, this is not the bed for you.
