My husband and I have gone through a LOT of these. We keep them in the freezer and microwave them the specified amount of time. We have never had a bad one out of all the ones we have purchased. The two of us each eat one almost every day. They don't have any poisonous ingredients or gluten like everything else and they are soooo good. My parents bought some per my recommendation and complained that they were gross like the one star reviewers do, so I asked them in detail how they were prepared. It turned out they didn't even keep them in the freezer, so it was my parents' fault they were gross. Acai berries spoil very quickly (in a day or 2 which is why you don't see them in produce areas), so if you aren't following the instructions and keeping them frozen so that they last a few months, then of course you will be making them nasty. If you can read and follow directions, they are AMAZING!!!
