great tire

Just put the Firestone Firehawk AS V2s on my 2022 Maxima SR and I couldn't be happier. ive had them on for a few hundred miles and I'm coming off the stock Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrics, these are noticeably quieter and ride softer, firm but not as soft as a typical touring tire and they handle really well. Where they really shine is in the rain. Wet traction is fantastic, and they inspire a lot of confidence in those conditions. If you're on the fence between a high-performance tire and a touring tire, this is the sweet spot. More planted and responsive than a typical touring tire, but without the harshness of a dedicated performance tire like the F1s. Highly recommend.

Firestone Firehawk AS V2 All-season Tires

Had 4 tires installed at the Sam's Club in Reynoldsburg, OH on November 30. Tires are great so far. Definitely have better wet traction than my previous tires. Installation process went very smoothly. Had all 4 tires mounted, balanced and installed in less than 1 hour. Very pleased with the service!

Firestone Firehawk AS V2

I had to wait several months before the Firehawk AS V2 for my 2003 Mercury Marauder became available in the manufacturers recommended sizes, 235/50/R18 & 245/55/R18. Just had them installed & went for a nice spirted drive on both curvy & flat roads. I'm impressed so far as these tires handle great in the curves and have very good traction on dead stop launches. I'm anxious to see how they will handle in both wet & snow conditions. I've used Firestone tires for over 50 years & they never have disappointed me, great products, thanks. Regards, Mike C.

Better than the Eagle run flats, it came equipped with.

I realize I haven't had them all that long. But so far, they're fantastic. They ride very quietly and the handling is great. I've also noticed about a 2 mile per gallon increase. If they keep performing like they are now, there will definitely be another set in my future.

Wet Traction

I wanted to put a few thousand miles on these tires in order to give an informed review. I researched tires for several months and kept coming back to these due to their hydroplaning resistance ratings and the science behind the tread design made sense. I commute to work about 400 miles per week in the Tampa Bay area where daily heavy downpours are pretty common. I could not be more impressed with the wet traction. Dry traction is excellent as well, noticed an immediate improvement in handling over my previous Firestone All-Seasons, which were a good tire. I have seen some reviews that complained about them being noisy, but I have not found that to be the case at all. If they make a size to fit your vehicle, buy them.

Overall satisfied

I just bought a set for my Impala and love the handing and the ride of the tire. They do amazing on wet roads. My only complaint is that they are not as quiet as advertised. They are quiet up to 65 mph but have louder hum on the interstate. Over all very happy with them so far

Jury still out

I don’t expect a whole lot as they are only 50k rated tire. Time will tell. I got these because they were the cheapest more performance rated tire with a mileage warranty.

Not made for comfort.

I can't review the durability of these because I only have 3000 miles on them. But I will say they are noisy and a rough ride. My car's a sports/luxury sedan and with these tires it drives and sounds like a truck. Handling I'd say is a 3 and traction in the rain is a 4, on a scale of 5. Hopefully the durability out weighs everything else.

Firehawk AS V2

3rd set of firehawks, 2 previous sets did not last long. Both sets start showing excessive wear at 10,000 & 20,000 miles eventhough tires rotated at 5,000 miles & alignment checked good. Giving Firestone last chance to see if tires do not wear excessive. If they do will not buy Firestone Firehawks again or any other brand

Do not buy

Tires are supposed to be a 50k mile tire. They were shot after one year with only 18k miles on them and were rotated every 6k miles. Centers were wore down to nothing and they were not over inflated. Car was aligned when they were put on. Was driven all easy highway miles. Dealer said firestone rep would not do anything about it. Will be the last firestone tire I will buy. I would give them less than 1 if I could.
