As a teen I had adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, the result being a fusion of a eight inch rod in my back. I am now close to 68, over the years l worked 8 to 10 hours a day doing heavy lifting and standing on hard concrete floors. I also carried 2 sets of twins. As I have gotten older, I now have degenerative scoliosis in my lower back with 5 bad disc, I don't let that slow me down. I still mow my 2 acre lawn, do all the yard work including the weed wacking. Most days I am so sore I can hardly walk, as I take nothing for pain, but I sleep like a baby. Best investment I have ever made. I always wanted a Tempur Pedic, but couldn't afford one. I really wish I had bought one years ago. I love the way it conforms to my body. I sleep really well and wake up with little or no pain at all. I am more than really happy and the price was well worth it, and I would gladly payed more, just for the comfort and the best nights sleep that I have had in forty years, no kidding. I love my new mattress. I very highly recommend a Tempur Pedic to everyone.

Purchased mattress in 2020 and still too firm. The mattress I tried in the store was not this firm despite being the same model. I have tried everything, including a mattress topper which just made it too hot. After a couple years now, I still can't sleep well, waking up with back, hip, and should pain that I only have after sleeping in the bed. Unless you like a very firm bed, don't bother. I have the soft model and it has never been soft.

For me, it does help my back pain because I been having back pain for a long time. This products does help me support my back while i'm sleeping on it. Think back when you could sleep on your stomach?? Well that was over 30 years ago for me. I've dealing with back issues for 15 years and haven't been able to get a good sleep nor feel rested and not sore when I get up. After buying the mattress it took a few days to get used it but now I'm sleeping on my stomach after 30 years and my back pains have gone away. It was a little hard for my wife so I bought a 2" memory foam pad for it and it's amazing for her and I. You won't be disappointed for sure!!!

I was experiencing sciatica pain so severe that I couldn't get comfortable when I laid down to sleep at night. I tossed and turned trying to find a comfortable position, disturbing my husband's rest as well. My old Tempur-pedic needed to be replaced, I thought. The first night on the new mattress proved me right, I went right to sleep with no problems finding that a comfortable position. While I still have some sciatica issues during the day, I know when I lay down I will be comfortable. We chose this mattress over the cooling versions because what I loved about the old one was the way it kept me warm. This one is just the same, warm and supportive. It certainly changed my life for the better!

The first night I slept on this mattress, I drifted off. I have been having fewer sleep disturbances and less back pain, and I notice I don't toss and turn to get into a comfortable position to fall asleep. I am so happy I chose the Pro-adapt Hybrid mattress and could get a decent night's sleep.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I love our adjustable Tempur-ProAdapt bed. We are both sleeping much better and we love the remote adjust-ability for each of us. We ordered a split King and couldn't be happier. We thought the split might be a problem, but the beds fit nicely together and we barely notice the split. We highly recommend.

We've had this bed a month. When we tried it in the showroom display the "firm" mattress was very soft. The "medium" mattress was way too soft (sink to the bottom kinda soft). So we went with the firm with the idea it would relax/soften over time considering the showroom display had been there for quite a while. After taking delivery of our new split CA king bed, I found the firm was just that FIRM. Too firm for me but just right for my husband. Until this bed softens up a bit, I need to put a softer memory foam topper on it. Otherwise the quality is good and my husband likes all the bells and whistles of the base. It's perfect for him to adjust so he can be comfortable with his bad back.

None of them lived up to our expectations and we continued to wake up in the morning tired and sore. Finally got a tempurpedic and could not be happier...wish we had done it years ago. I've been using this for several months now and as a result the back pain and problems I have experienced have been Reduced to the point where I'm not in pain most of the time unlike before now. So I can undoubtably say the Tempur-pedic pro adapt firm mattress has improved the quality of my life.
