[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stearns & Foster sent me this Lux Estate Soft Pillowtop Mattress in queen size for free so that I could review it. For that, I am incredibly grateful! I honestly wasn't expecting much from the mattress. As someone who suffers from an autoimmune disease, I've grown accustomed to aches and pains. For background, I added a 3" memory foam topper to my old bed just to sleep comfortably. My family likes to travel, and I actually take memory foam with me to try to make sleeping on a different mattress tolerable. I expected this new mattress to be a similar experience. I planned to try it for a few nights so that I could provide my (expected to be negative) point of view and then compare/contrast with my husband's opinion while I went back to my 3" memory foam. Now here I am, weeks later... No memory foam in sight! And I haven't even asked my husband's opinion. For the record, he hasn't complained, which basically means he likes it. I have no idea how the mattress does it, but I've been sleeping really, really well - no tossing and turning or waking up periodically throughout the night. I fall asleep quickly and wake up in the same position hours later. I had no idea how not-well-rested I was feeling until now. It's been amazing. Only time will tell if the experience continues, but I am feeling extremely optimistic. This isn't the outcome I expected, but I am so happy that the mattress has completely defied my expectations! One final note that I must throw in, even though it's completely irrelevant: the mattress is gorgeous! The deep blue with pattern... I'm sad that it has to be covered up; it fits the Lux Estate name perfectly.

The sleep I get is worth every penny this mattress retails for. The firmness is comfortable for both myself and my wife and we are very picky about firmness of a mattress. The look of the mattress tells you all you need to know from the very beginning, it looks well made. I will be a customer of this brand for life.

This is a replacement mattress, and it has the same problem as the previous one. it sinks where we lie. I weigh 175 and my wife 142 so that should not be an issue. We have requested another replacement but the requirements from Ashley furniture exceed our physical abilities ages 84 and 80) such as photographing the label and 360-degree photos of the matress. We had a Sterns and Foster double pillow top for years with no problem This matrass is substandard and not as good as a $500 matress that it replaced. So sorry we did it, we are just stuck with it since we have no clear path to fix the problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my personal bed I sleep in every night. I work odd hours at my job so getting great sleep is very important to me. This bed has not only surpassed my expectations but also made a life customer out of me. The quality of this bed matches its comfort. It did feel different to me at first given the fact that I used to own a foam mattress prior to this one. But after the first night I was sleeping like a baby. I will not hesitate to recommend this bed to anyone because it truly is worth the price.

Definitely firm, I was concerned it would be too firm But it hasnt been. It's cooler Than my old pillow top but I'm sure that has something to Do with the inter workings of the bed. It is the perfect amount of cushion from the pillow top to give about 3 inches of plush comfort to the firm mattress. The mattress almost cradles you so that any position is comfortable. The mattress is firm enough to support weight on the edge of the bed without feeling as if you will roll off. Mattress bounces back every morning and does not leave indentations where bodies slept. The mattress does not make any creaking sounds when you move around at night either. Love the mix of comfort and support!

I had a Stearns and Foster mattress a few years ago, but I had to donate it when we moved. I bought a different brand, but I woke up with lower back pain way too often. So recently, I decided I was going to buy another Stearns and Foster, and my back pain is gone. I will never buy another mattress!

This mattress itself looks luxury. It is pretty thick, but has vents on both sides to keep it cool. Have been using the mattress for more than a month. The mattress is comfortable, haven't cause my back pain up to now. My husband thinks the 'cool to the touch' feather is not as good as it looks like. He feels this mattress is a little hotter than our old one, I don't think so though. One thing I don't like about his mattress is that, it is too tall for me, I am 5'2" and I have to climb onto the bed every time. Even my husband who is 6'2" thinks it is too tall.

The mattress is firm and supportive for your body, but the pillowtop adds a comfy layer so when you climb into bed you are surrounded with comfort. I will say this mattress is very thick and heavy. It's a bit hard to change the sheets because it's so heavy to lift and tuck the sheet under. We are using it on a platform bed so there is no need for a box spring. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this mattress at no charge in exchange for an honest review. My husband and I previously had a basic Sealy mattress. I thought it was fine, but was excited to try something new. I couldn't have been more surprised at the difference! It doesn't matter if I sleep on my side, back, or stomach- there are no pressure points on my hips, it is cushioned but well supported and I don't get over heated. I sleep with a weighted blanket so I have found that I tend to get hot easily. The mattress stays the same temperature regardless. When I wake up in the morning my lower back, hips and feet no longer hurt. It is amazing!
