[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the opportunity to product test a Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Firm Pillowtop - Queen size mattress. I can honestly say, both my husband and myself are sleeping much better. We have had this mattress for a week now, and I waited until now to write the review because I wanted to give the mattress a fair and honest review. We have purchased several foam mattresses over the last 15 years, so it has been a while since we've slept on a mattress with springs. We have been talking about upgrading our mattress again, due to our mattress sinking and not allowing a full nights rest for either of us. When I was contacted to product test a Stearns and Foster mattress we jumped at the opportunity. I was going into this trial a little nervous about it being a firm pillow top, as usual I like softer mattress. However I have to admit, I am very pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and supportive this mattress is. My husband is thrilled that he no longer wakes up several times due to me changing positions. We both have noticed our sleep quality and morning pain has greatly improved. Although I do think I would enjoy the feel of a medium to soft pillow top, and my husband would prefer a little more cooling, we both agree this is the best mattress we had had in quite some time. One thing that really surprised us both is how high this mattress is. It definitely sits a lot higher on our bed than any of our old mattresses. I kind of have to hop into bed, but I'm a people mc nugget, so I'm used to things being to high for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First lets start off that this is an absolutely beautiful mattress, expensive but beautiful. But getting straight to it, for the price, the craftmanship should be wayyyy better. There were tons of stray threads all over the mattress which to me is unacceptable for the price. There are "nooks/divots" all over the mattress which can be slightly uncomfortable if your used to your traditional smooth mattress. I especially don't like this feature around the edges of the mattress because when you sit at the edge of the bed it feels like it is sinking in but it is not. When it comes to the comfort of the bed I received the medium pillow top. My mattress before was a firm and I would rotate using a memory foam topper ever 6 months. The first 2 weeks on this mattress was an absolute nightmare! I could not fall asleep, tossed and turned and woke up with constant back pain. For reference I am 5'9 200+ lbs and sleep alone so I had tons of room to roam on the mattress. By week 3 I was sleeping through the night and since then, every night is the best sleep I have ever had! You will have to break in this mattress which is a bit disappointing due to the price. The mattress is firm but still comfy, soft and welcoming without feeling suffocated. I attribute this to the pillow top giving added comfort. There is no noise (squeaks) when getting on/off the mattress and movement does not transfer if you are sharing the mattress with a child or partner. The mattress does sit quite high on the box spring but I like that since I am tall myself. I've had it for 2 months and it is holding up well, no sagging or anything. I expect this mattress to last a lifetime!

Purchased another Stearns mattress and within 6 months it sank 2", I had to file a claim and this is the second one I purchased. The other was discontinued so I was at first worried about a firm pillow top that my store had but one nights sleep was good. I have severe back pain and needing a hip replacement in 2 months. So far feels great. Wasn't too firm. Comfortable to sleep in. Hoping this one will last! Can't say yet if it helps with pain because I'm in a lot of pain but I know the last one was great at first.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Medium Pillowtop - Queen is, by far, the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. The pillowtop makes me feel like I'm sleeping on a soft, pillowy cloud and I can tell by the design, this mattress is durable and will last for a long time . I really like the elegant look of the mattress as well. I definitely recommend this mattress to anyone looking for outstanding comfort and quality.

have owned a few S&F but this one hasn't lasted very long as far as sagging in the middle. I have to get a new mattress quickly as my back is hurting. If I sleep at a nice Hotel, I feel great and have no back pain. Sorry S&F, I paid allot or this mattress and expected it to last longer. the tag states Dina Pammill was the Master Craftsman made in Indiana and also has Eileen Leigh name on it along with the number 5691. We made the mistake of going cheap and ordering a "highly rated" bed-in-a-box mattress sight unseen from another company and it was awful. We quickly returned that one and decided to get more serious and went in-store to try out some other mattress options. After many exhaustive options we finally landed on the Stearns and Foster Lux Estate, pillowtop firm. Still, it's hard to judge a mattress just from a quick 5 minute test in a store with sales people hounding you. I am here to say that we've now had our mattress for a full week and it's seriously the most amazing mattress I think I've ever slept on in my life. I will sound like an advertisement, but I also noticed my ongoing neck and shoulder pain has also disappeared. It's a splurge and an investment but so happy we made the upgrade.

Definitely firm, I was concerned it would be too firm But it hasnt been. It's cooler Than my old pillow top but I'm sure that has something to Do with the inter workings of the bed. It's a win for me

Just simply falling asleep and waking up in the morning... well rested!!! I cannot recommend this mattress enough! We have already told all of our family members and anyone that is talking about new mattresses!

I love my lux estate so much I'm a fan on the sterns and tempur family but to me sterns was the better choice it had everything I was looking for edge support great coil System and great comfort layers I know that will last me many years! I treated my self To it while I was working at mattress firm I sold So many sterns and fosters my customers would come back to me so happy saying it help with they back and rest I knew I had to get one for me and my husband we sleep so well ! The only con for me is the mattress is pretty heavy but it does have the best quality materials so I deal with it with care and love it can't wait to add adjustable base
