From the perspective of a lightweight person, the "soft" mattress is a great balance between firm edges and just enough "sink" while you're sleeping. Have had it for 6 months and it's still just as comfortable as day one. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I have been using this Tempur-pedicure Pro-Adapt soft mattress for about one week now. This mattress has extreme memory foam. When you sleep on it you do feel yourself sink down into the mattress and conform to your body. It also has a cooling top which helps you stay cooler at night if you are a hot sleeper. This is a nice mattress and it does feel good but i feel It is pretty expensive! If you are looking for a quality mattress and have the money to try this I would recommend trying it out. I have received this mattress for free for giving an honest review on this mattress.

Typically, we have a 30-60 day acclimation period . This product was an excellent choice with no "break in" period or any discomfort from the start. We are very pleased with our choice. It is now very difficult to get out of bed on these cold winter morning here in Minnesota!!!! And movement by either of us does not disturb the other. Motionless!!! Awesome.

Has taken awhile to adjust and still a work in progress. Harder or maybe denser than I like. There was a Tempur-Pedic sales rep in store that day. Sales person ask what I was looking for in new mattress and my sleep patterns. Told her I had good experiences with euro pillow tops while traveling. But she recommended the mattress I purchased over the pillow top. Not sure if might have been more satisfied or not with pillow top. But do wonder about my choice due to the firmness and breaking in period. Know I could return for a fee but will try to make this one work. I am sleeping more sound. So will probably be ok.

The Hybrid Pro Adapt has made sleeping more pleasant (even the dog loves it). The adjustments on the split version keeps everyone in a position they prefer. Who knew I could sleep in so many positions with comfort. The only thing we do not like ...... that we didn't have it 20 years ago !!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was very nervous purchasing this bed not only because of the price but the extreme firmness of the mattress. Most mattresses out there that call themselves firm really are not. I thought this one would be like sleeping on a rock, but it forms to your body enough to ease lower back pain, but you don't feel like you are sinking in. My husband has a lot of back pain and is in a physical job, and he was in love with this bed from night one. We both love it and hope to have it for many many years!

Best night's sleep I have had in years. I had my first back surgery in 2013 and second in 2016. I have tried different, expensive mattresses and could not sleep without hurting. I slept in a recliner for a year. The firm mattress that I got wouldn't be for everyone but with my back I needed it. Everything else gave too much and caused my pain all over. The person that I bought it from was amazed that I adjusted to it so quickly. I would not sell my mattress to anyone. It's all mine!

We received this bed as our previous Tempurpedic Contour Elite which was only 2 1/2 years old was defective and after trying the new Pro Adapt soft mattress a few nights we tried to exchange it for a Pro Adapt Medium mattress and were told we could not after we were given the run around. so we got rid of it. Ten nights of very uncomfortable rest was all we could take. We have been exclusively Tempurpedic customers since our first mattress in 2002 and have owned three mattress since but will not purchase again.

Warning -- if you buy this mattress you'll have to give up staying in hotels, because no other bed will be as comfortable as your own. This bed solved my back problems! We bought directly through Tempur-pedic and had a perfect purchase and delivery experience. I can't recommend this highly enough.

After speaking with a Sleep expert they recommended this medium Hybrid option due to my size. I am 6ft 9in and 300 lbs. I have never spent so much on a mattress before but figured it would be worth it if it meant I could finally get a good night's sleep. Sadly I was disappointed. I gave it a month and was desperate to get rid of it. It was way to hard and I just couldn't find a comfortable position. I would wake up with terrible hip joint pain in the middle of the night. I am too young to have hip pain. I have found more comfortable mattresses for much less.
