My previous bed was also a Tempurpedic. I used it for 10 years and it was time for a change. The new ProAdapt (firm for me) is incredible. I'm a side sleeper, and this bed provides the firm support I need. I don't like the feeling of sinking into a bed, so if that's your thing, look at a medium or soft version of this mattress. I also bought the Ergo Extend adjustable base and it's a must have if you read in bed or watch TV. Yes Tempurpedic beds are very expensive compared to the competition, but I believe that over time, they provide the best value. The firmness extends to the edges of the bed, making getting into and out of bed much easier on my back. Check it out and get one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this mattress. If you prefer a firm mattress, I would highly suggest choosing this over all other TEMPUR-PEDIC options. The other options likely will not be firm enough. This mattress feels closest to the original TEMPUR-PEDIC mattresses. Very firm but you can feel the memory foam on the top layer. These mattresses do however trap heat which is the only drawback.

It also adds just a little firmness over the the regu;ar medium. This is a replacement mattress for a cloud supreme that had failed. The company stands by its products! Love the productand the company.

This is definitely one of the best mattresses money can buy!!! My wife and I are 100% super-super satisfied with the purchase of our Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Firm California Split King mattresses. One word to sum up how we feel each and everyday we wake up "Refreshed" Oh did I already mention the part how each and every morning my wife and I hate to get up from laying in our Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Firm mattress? (lol). Yes, these mattresses are that darn comfortable! You won't want to get up from laying on it! Highly recommend going to a sleep center and checking it out for yourslef and with Tempurpedic's 90 day sleep trial how can you go wrong?! I promise-promise you won't be upset if you check this mattress out, but I know without a doubt that if you don't you will definitely be missiing out on the best (dab-nab-it) sleep you ever experienced in your entire life! Bought a split king in two different firmnesses recommended by the sleep specialist. After 90 days of terrible sleep ended up swapping to a standard king or medium hybrid pro adapt and have never slept worse in my life. After almost a year now of "breaking in" it's gotten worse. Only in our 30's and now have more back and hip pain than I ever imagined. Don't sleep, tossing turning, neck back and hip pain. Absolutely terrible. Spent all the money on all the hype just to be in shock at how terrible it sleeps. Should've gone with my other options of other brands. Would not recommend

A lil on the pricey side but every penny is worth it. If you want to stop waking up with aches and pains then buy this bed. It will change your life!!

I didn't think we could ever replace this very old mattress because it was SO PERFECT! It was also completely worn out after about 25 years or so. Well, we got the ProAdapt firm and it is just like our old one. I was just thrilled. Completely happy. Our clerk was extremely helpful in listening to my story about trying to find another Tempurpedic mattress like our original. She just pointed it out and said that was it. And it was! If you want a firm mattress, this is the one! We got free delivery in 2 days and interest-free financing for 5 years. I ordered new pillows and can't wait for them to come in! Thank you, Lisa!

If you had to jump from a burning building onto this mattress you would die... it's hard as a rock, does not contour and hot! The mattress in the store is wildly different than this one. No side sleeper should ever try this. The fact my sales rep recommended it as ok is criminal. I haven't slept in weeks. It's 4am and I just moved to the couch. Don't buy this mattress it is not what is advertised in store!!!

The Pro Adapt Soft mattress I have sleeps hot, despite following all of the advice from customer service reps. I am petite, under 120 lbs, and over 70. I am also experiencing tingling and pressure when I lie on this mattress. I want to love my mattress and give great reviews, but I am dealing with a dead end. Comfort level is not covered in warranty according to the company. Alan I need your help.
