Short version: light output is amazing, super bright and can cover a large area. Hinge section of the mount sucks, teeth stripped and light sags. Actual light is durable. Long version: I installed this light over our pig yard hoping to illuminate their feed area. Puts out enough light to illuminate the 50' x 50' with a lot to spare. I do wish it stayed on longer after activated, but if you stay moving it stays on. The only flaw I've found is the hinge part of the mount. The little teeth stripped letting the light flip forward. I was going to take a star off, but recent weather knocked the light off it's pole (the plastic hinge part cracked). The light spent two whole days submerged in flooded pig muck. I expected it to be a goner. Rinsed off the dried muck and set it in the sun to dry. Guess what, it still works! I've spent ten times the amount on cheap solar motion lights. You can get lucky and find one that lasts, but most die after the first big rain. This one is not like the others. Conclusion: This light is worth the money. You may have to get creative with mounting if your hinge strips. I plan on trying their other light options to see if they are as great.

I love these lights. Attached 6 of them to the fence in the back yard. The motion detector turns the light on when the dogs run around the back yard after dark. Perfect for when me & the dogs are out at night.

Great light. Because it’s solar powered, the insulation was easy for a remote location on my property.

A solid motion sensor light that will light up a huge area! This would work great for many uses especially the color part and is super easy to install well made and super sturdy. The brightness is so bright it will hurt your eye if you look right at it!

This is perfect for late night working in the garden and hope it deters the deer that try to hop in at night. SO easy to set up! Seems very durable.

Love these lights. I bought mine 3 years ago, and they still work well. I did have issues with water, but its still working. I plan to reseal it. I would love to have one that you could adjust the length of time they come on, but I still give it 5 stars. I was hoping it would last a year--3 years later works perfectly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Crazy bright and hold charge well, my only concern is the mounting brackets. I added a few washers to stabilize the mount a bit, but I don't expect it to last long. The light itself is quite heavy and the bracket is small and plastic.

The solar charging works great and the light output is impressively bright — exactly what you'd want from a 4000‑lumen fixture. I do wish the unit allowed adjusting how long it stays on after motion is detected, but the default timing is workable. The real issue is the mounting system. The adjustable “teeth” don't hold their position, so the light will slip and be parallel with the pole. Finger‑tightening doesn't help, and even cranking down with pliers only fixes it temporarily. At this point I'm tired of hauling out the ladder every few weeks to reposition it. The light itself is solid, but the mounting design needs a serious rethink.
