This is the second best mattress we have ever purchased, the first best was back in 1989 it was also Tempur-Adapt Medium King, which is now in a guest room. We have bought the Twin XL mattresses in for our bed again but being they were twin adjustable we bought 2 twin xl ones. OMG we are so happy all over again. We had other Twin XL mattresses and it took us years to end up getting them again. We are in love with them, LOVE LOVE LOVE our sleep again. Thank you Tempur-Adapt for making such great mattresses that lasts way further then you think

My mattress is like sleeping on a cloud. It takes a few seconds to sink into the cushiony layer and then you feel the firmness. It is not hard. I have not been able to sleep on my stomach for years due to back issues but now I can. There is firmness to the mattress enough to feel cradled but not hard where it hurts. The top layer provides a cushion that you sink into but not to the point where it suffocates you. It is the perfect combination and I'm so happy I made the purchase.

We tried another brand first and ended up returning that mattress. The other mattress was a hybrid and it just to firm. We will continue to buy Tempur-pedic mattresses when we are ready for our next one.

Just bought bed #2. Didn't even bother shopping around. Enjoyed 18 excellent years with bed #1. Worth every penny. Looking forward to another 18 years of awesome, lower back spoiling sleep. (Might be longer since the four kids are grown and won't be forever trying to sneak in to the "Comfy Bed")

I'm not kidding! It is so incredibly comfortable. My sleep has improved and I feel so much better when I wake in the morning. I highly recommend this product. You won't be sorry.

Was contemplating on purchasing a new bed because of the amount of other mattress companies out there, making it extremely difficult to decide. Purchased a Tempurpedic and it was one of the best decisions. It took a few weeks for the mattress to break in, but I have not had one bad night of sleep since. I did not notice a smell after it was set up, nor have I gotten warm/hot when sleeping (as others claimed). It is truly is well worth the money.

Her mattress was older, and we made the choice to invest in a quality mattress to support our daughter's growing body. The delivery process was amazing as we were met with professional communication and amazing delivery. It was lovely not having to go into a store and taking the mattress home with us. Our online shopping and delivery experience was perfect. Equally as awesome, our daughter's back pain as gone away, and she is absolutely in love with her new bed! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mattress is good. It's pretty comfortable. Im a side sleeper and my shoulders and hips have issues it seems. However, the adjustable base helps some with that. I don't think the "cooling" stuff in the mattress cover does anything, especially after you put a mattress protector and a fitted sheet on top of it. Ours doesn't have much "cooling" stuff and I'm glad as I think paying more for stuff you're hiding under layers of cloth would be a waste of money. It has helped my ankles/achilles-tendons which were previously very stiff in the morning. My lower back is also doing much better with this mattress than my prior mattress. The medium firm is pretty firm still - we've only had it for a short period of time and we keep the room pretty cool - so it stays on the firmer side. My only real negative is, it's expensive!
