I do a lot of biking and skiing, so my body feels it at the end of the day, and the purple wasn't up to the task. But the Tempurpedic made an instant impact on my body and my sleep. I track my sleep patterns and there's little movement and I do not wake up at all, which tells me the bed is doing it's job. I feel better than I have in years mentally, so what more could I ask for. I tried this mattress out in the store and the firmness felt perfect. For the first few weeks the firmness was great and it relieved pressure on my spine wonderfully. Then it started to soften more and more to the point where 2 months after buying, I sink all the way down to the springs like I'm on a cheap 20 year old spring mattress. Absolutely horrible. Do not buy.

My husband and I purchased this mattress after extensive research. We were on a mattress that was uncomfortable and we just dreaded going to bed. When we decided to purchase our Tempur-Adapt Medium and slept on it we were thoroughly ecstatic! Our sleepless nights turned into let's just stay in bed and enjoy our comfortable mattress! With my old mattresses I would wake up with back and hip pain feeling more tired than when I went to sleep. Since getting this mattress I wake up refreshed every day and feel great.

Mattress was purchased for help with back pain and pressure point issues. Mattress was very firm but is softening. I like the mattress but it is very HOT. My initial impression is not a great one as far as comfort for the price. I guess time will tell. Btw, the cloud pillow is hot as well. Hopefully I can remedy the situation. I think the bed could be great if it was just cooler.

I have Ankylosing spondylitis and this medium mattress relieves the pressure points in my back, neck and hips. Perfect amount of firmness as well. I also have the adjustable base, and the zero gravity setting is amazing. I sleep much better as a result.

Earlier this year I decided to downsize and purchase a Queen size mattress. There are so many memory foam mattresses out there these days, and believe me, I read up on all of them. In the end, I decided to purchase the Tempur-Adapt mattress. I can tell you that I made the right choice. I love it better than my old Tempurpedic mattress and I sleep even better now than I did before! I now fall asleep within the first ten minutes and sleep soundly throughout the night. This mattress isn't cold and hard when I first lay down, nor does it heat me up too much as some memory foam mattresses do. It's perfect for me! Just to let you know, my mattress arrived a couple of weeks before upgrades were done in my home. I ended up having to wait a couple of months before I could sleep on it for the first time, and it was well worth the wait! In case you are wondering what happened to my old Tempurpedic mattress, my daughter wouldn't let me get rid of it so now she is sleeping on it. You can't go wrong with a Tempurpedic!

I decided to invest ina new mattress because I was having trouble with my back and the old mattress I had was terrible. After much research, and trying it out in the store, I decided on Adapt Medium Hybrid. My back pain got worse. When I wake up, I am so uncomfortable that I have to do a series of stretches to unkink my body. I am returning it. Unfortunately, the base is non-refundable. I'm just hoping the next mattress is better.

The adjustable frame is awesome, and at first I thought I'd never use the silly vibration part but now I'm singing a different toon, after a long day, it just rocks you to sleep! Everyone who comes to visit gets dragged into our room to give the new bed a try, I think we've already created some new customers! The only cons I have are the base is very very heavy if you have to move it, and the mattress topper is very slippery and I have a hard time getting the mattress cover to fit and stay, I realize it has one "built in" so to speak but with dogs , grandchildren and life in general I feel more confidant with one I can get on and off easily!
