The worst towels I ever bought. There was lint everywhere. It took me hours to clean the washing machine, the dryer, the laundry room floor and especially the colored laundry that have been in the machine afterwards. To top it off: On 3 of 8 towels the seam came off. Plus: The look plush, but in fact are kind of thin.

Look at the image. Look at all the fibers fraying all over the entire surface of the towel. This is after only ONE WASH. This is only one of the towels in the 8-pack (so far), but this should not be happening. This is totally unacceptable quality. I would definitely NOT recommend these to anyone.

Very disappointing! These towels are not even close to commercial hotel quality! They are very thin. As soon as I received them I washed the towels before using them. They looked like they were falling apart with strings and cotton all over the towels and in my washing machine. I would not purchase these members mark towels again.

This is my second set of these towels. First set (2 sets) are from 5 years ago and we use them in our utility bathroom. I love them. This set I purchased just to refresh our towels - because the others are a little dingy. Brought them home, washed and dried them and yes lint. Ok, I know that about towels. Set them aside and decided to wash a second time before putting them to use. Lint was less but THE PILLING IS UNBELIEVABLE. Honestly so bad that I have had to clean the lint trap on the drier 5 times during a load. I purchased both the hand towels and bath towels - hand towels bad but the bath towels are horrid. After two full wash and dries the bath towels especially are covered with pilling just waiting to end up on us after a shower. Just know if you purchased these before something has really changed in the quality. I couldn't be more disappointed in the quality of this Sam's club item.

I had to ding these just a bit because I feel like they were packaged a bit deceptively. It clearly says on the tag there are 8 of them, but they way they are folded is a bit misleading. My first thought was, these are so big and fluffy!! Until I broke the seal and realized they folded two towels together to achieve that look. They are rather thin and flimsy, and a bit on the small side, but they washed up well - no pulls or fuzzies - and absorb water decently. Overall, they are pretty good towels, but a bit of a letdown considering what I thought I was getting.

We do not like the super plush towels because we have a small home with not very much linen storage space. We also like to wash our towels frequently and the very thick towels take a long time to dry. So these are perfect for us - but be advised that if you like the thick towels, these are not for you.

I've read most of the reviews about these towels, and opinions are evenly split between positive and negative. However, I have found these towels to be of excellent quality and highly absorbent for the bath. You may notice some lint in your dryer, but this is normal for new towels. After washing them together, I found that their quality is comparable to, if not better than, hotel towels. I would definitely recommend them; you won't be disappointed unless you have very different expectations. This is exactly what I was looking for.
