I was putting together a Little Tikes Ice Cream Cozy truck (model XCL657856M8) that I purchased today at Sam's Club. When I added the brand new Duracell (AAA) batteries into the music speaker, I noticed the product was defective. I went to remove the batteries and it burned my fingers. That was when I noticed a strong electrical burning smell from the speaker. I removed the cover and slide the batteries out. That was when I also noticed the casing from one of the batteries was melted and the batteries are extremely HOT. WE plan on returning this product tomorrow for fear of an electrical fire. This all occurred in a matter of 6 minutes from the time the batteries went into the music speaker to the time we slide out and noticed the melted battery case. We love Little Tikes products and will continue to buy them. We have never had a problem with any other product in the past. This is just a big safety concern that you should be aware of. Will be emailing Little Tikes next.

I bought this for my one year old son for Christmas. While putting it together I found broken and incorrect parts. It was the absolute worst thing I have ever put together. The instruction booklet is so difficult to follow I wouldn't have even been able to get it together without the video instructions. I am thankful my son is little and doesn't realize parts are missing and don't work. For the price I paid I can't believe the poor quality and the awful instructions.

I recently bought for my granddaughter. She loves it! Unfortunately there is 1 problem with it. The speaker for the roof is broken and will not work. Other than that everything is else is good with it

Anything L:ittle tikes is sure to be a quality product. I have had Crazy Coupes for 35 years and now, as a grandparent, am having fun with all these new ones. I love the ice cream truck as it allows other children to play with my granddaughter.

I was so excited to get this for my daughter for Christmas. After putting it together, we noticed that the music will not play at all. Quite disappointed for how much we paid for it.

Parts don't fit together that nice... Many times it was a struggle and i'm a mecanic... Left roof pillar missing. Now nothing is holding down the door so it keeps falling...

This is the cutest. But it took an hour to put together. Also the little music barely plays loud enough to hear it! Obviously don't want it to loud as it would be annoying but it would be nice to hear it better.

Fun little car but can't get the sound to work b o matter which way the batteries are. The only instructions are to “push” the on button but there is only a slider. We've tried all positions and pushing it to no avail

Got this a week ago and went to put it together and it's missing one whole wheel …not impressed
