I will use for emergency charging only...

I live in Japan and purchased the Delta Pro / Solar Panel combo. I set up the solar panel by myself and found it quite a cumbersome process. The case is to be used as a "stand" but it was rather tedious to get the panel connected at the 4 attachment points AND attempt to get the panel to sit correctly in the case-stand. After connecting the carabiners to the grommets I feel like there is quite a bit of tension/stress placed on the grommets and I would be concerned about long-term regular use. Seems like a weak point in the design but hey - I'm not a design Engineer. Directions say to zip up the case to adjust the angle of the panel but I'm in a location where I can just leave it completely unzipped. I didn't attempt but I would imagine trying to zip up the already flimsy case while holding the panel would be very frustrating. Two people working together would stand a better chance at not feeling like they deserved an ice-cold beer after wrestling with it alone. Overall build quality seems excellent and I'm glad I have it in case I need it but I hope someone can improve on the design moving forward. Cheers.

Fantastic Product - Except Kick Stand

I'm a huge Ecoflow fan and I own a lot of your stuff! It's all great and exceeds my expectations. But folks, the kickstand for the 400 watt solar panels needs some help. It's not sturdy and it causes the panels to sag. Your world-class products deserve a world-class kickstand. Back to the drawing board. Figure out a better solution.

EcoFlow is one of the very best values in industry

Purchased an EcoFlow ultra extra battery with inverter And several different EcoFlow solar panels, including the 400 W with a gimpy stand. One piece of advice if you’re getting into Solar is unless you’re selling XS back to the electric provider. It’s not going to be cost-effective. One way to help it be more cost-effective is to never pay full price for solar equipment. Wait till Black Friday wait till Christmas wait till summer wait till Easter Memorial Day Labor Day check on all the major holidays and there will be major discounts. The 400 W panel advertised here is 42% off. If you built a 90 kW EcoFlow system and paid full price well they have a 45K system in their refurbished products, which I recommend highly for 20 grand and that doesn’t include your panels. It just includes five batteries for each column and inverter. Any any and all additional upgrades such as the smart two home panel and iPhone iPad display controller or extra. Like I said wait till they’re on sale. I’ve caught some items on sale for 60 to 70% off. And it’s OK to mix equipment if you can hook them together and link them you can’t tell the difference in quality. A friend of mine built a 150 kW system in my development and I’m not sure he has two of the same of anything.

Love it

I set mine up on the roof of my house and use a 20ft extension. It hasn't moved even during storms. I have one of the early Delta models, and it works great. I just need a bigger battery. As the sun first rises, I only get 20-30 watts and peaks over 300 watts around noon. Considering the panel isn't pointing directly at the sun, I'm impressed!

Need better stand

I bought a Delta Pro and four 400 watt portable panels. The bags they come with are nice for transporting the panels but I have a very hard time using the bag as a stand. Really wish you offered a separate light weight adjustable stand sized properly to work with this panel. November 2024

Solar Panel Package Review

The Solar Panel Package is well packaged and has carrying straps. The panels cannot be separated so are a little heavy to carry. The Panels are well built, very efficient, and charge the battery as advertised. When laying them out flat, in midday on a lawn, put spacers underneath so the hot panels will not kill the grass underneath them. They are well designed, efficient, and portable.

Solar Panel Kickstand needs a lot of improvement

I bought my Ecoflow Pro, Wave, and solar panel system several months ago. The Pro unit seems great, the Wave needed a cable that finally arrived, and does cool very well. I think the main systems are the best on the market right now and the most innovative. This said, however, I think there are needed improvements in the little things. The instruction manual should go over every little part and port on the units and what they are used for. For example, that the extra battery port is also the port used to plug in the Wave. The "kickstand" for the solar panels is awful! Whatever stiffening material is inside, melted/warped in the hot sun here in Central California so I can't use it when it's hot (basically ALL summer) and prop the panels up on kid sized plastic lawn chairs instead, which works easier and better anyway. While using the "kickstand" it's extremely difficult to move the panel with the sun. They catch on the grass and bend and wave or scrape on the pool deck and get scuffed up. The ends of the panels are not supported and bed back and don't stay at the optimum angle to the sun. I'd really like a hard case for more protection of the panels, and a true stand solution. I also have a Lion Energy system and their case and stands are VERY good. If you need help with design of a new stand and/or case, I'm positive I could help you. A simple folding metal frame system would work as well as my little chairs. A MUCH longer charging cable is definitely needed. I bought one on Amazon so the Pro unit can be in the shade or even inside my home and the panels can be in the sun. I covered all the cables with swimming pool noodles (cut down the length to slip the cables in) to protect them from the extremely hot sun here and it worked great. I gave Ease of Use only three stars because of the hassle with the solar panels. If not for the awful "kickstand" I'd have given 5 stars. For the same reason, I only gave 4 stars for rating the fast charging system. Too much time was lost trying to get the panels set and the same for quality. The power units themselves get a definite 5 stars, but the panel stand system brings it all down. If the solar panel stand really worked and the instructions more thorough, I'd give 5 stars on everything.

3 x 400W panels outside 24x7 for 125 days straight

We have had 3 of the 400W solar panels outside for 125 days straight, rain, snow, hail, high winds, and no issues. They actually can stand up to sustained use in weather ! I've had them flat on the ground and now on the side of a small rise. Running them in serial. I've gotten up to 960w, yesterday I got 940w late morning. For 2 months they powered our seedling far in the water shed (pictured to the right in the photo) . Lately they power up all our battery recharging operations - our water filtration and our freeze drier.
