I really loved the way the smell from this product lasted for days and days. I washed a load of bed linens and clothes. It was especially refreshing to get that just washed small every time I laid down on my sheets. I would definitely purchase this and use it again. The fresh protect odor-shield made my clothes smell amazing! In fact, it made my whole house smell good as my clothes were washing. For years I've had issues keeping my linens and towels smelling fresh, even a day or 2 after washing them. I tried out this product, and low & behold, it worked! I purposefully hid towels that I had washed in these beads to see what the outcome would be a week later. Guess what? They smelled like I had just washed them earlier the same day. I have a very sensitive skin so I only use a specific laundry detergent and nothing else. however I received "Downey Fresh Protect Beads" for free to test and I only used a little bit of it at first and my towels smelled really good and I didn't break out. so for my second load I used it again and man, my clothes were fresh and smelling good. I have started using it now and I love it.

I absolutely love this product. My clothes smell just as good after wearing them all day as they do when they first come out of the washer and dryer. These beads are great for storing out of season clothes. If you add them to your washer, do the laundry as normal, it alleviates the need for adding dryer sheets to out of season clothes. There is no weird residue and I feel clean and fresh all day long!

I love this fragranced-packed little laundry balls! I got a few samples and HONESTLY thought there was no way such a small amount would pack some serious smell-good power. Alas, I was wrong! I went and purchased more before even finishing up my samples. These add a nice fragrant boost to your laundry. Although the scent lasts, it's not overpowering or headache inducing. Ease of use is obvious - you just toss 'em in with your laundry. They don't leave any kind of film, even on dark clothes. I don't wear perfume so the scent these provide is enough for passersby to ask what I'm wearing! I have always been a Downy customer, but I had never tried the Downy beads before. They were so simple to use and I didnt have to worry about spilling anything so that aspect is great. I still get the softness I love so much from Downy. The only thing for me is I will have to use less next time because the scent was very strong for my personal liking. I love the smell of clean especially laundry detergent.. Knowing my clothes are clean and not just that but that they smell great.
