[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that this was a first trying downy. I usually try Sauvetel it like mexican. Or at least its sold at the mexican store. The Downy little packs was the first time that I seen little beads as a fabric softener. I thought that it was just liquid or the paper ones that u throw in the dryer. I'm a fan. Downy smells amazing and it makes my clothes soft. I wonder how long they will smell.

Okay, this stuff is amazing! Hope this isn't TMI, but I used these on my down comforter and it was great! My boyfriend and I often wake up sweaty in the morning, and our comforter was starting to smell like it. Also, our cat peed on our bed about a year ago but the residual scent stuck in the matress had grossly made the comforter smell some too. We washed it with these beads and it became SO much better! Ultra fresh! These would be perfect for loads of gym or sports laundry, heavily soiled laundry, stuff that's people or pets have gotten sick on or had accidents on...it really knocks out stinky odors completely! Really happy with this. I got some complimentary to try but all my opinions are my own!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I tried Downy® Fresh Protect Active Fresh In-Wash Odor Shield I mixed it in with my husband's work clothes and I noticed a HUGE difference to the smell! My husband works outside and comes home with very dirty clothes this is the perfect product to help with any odor. Also, great if you happen to forget you put clothes in the washing machine. No need to rewash them! Just put them in the dryer and they will still smell great!

I received this product to review in the April fresh scent and it smells great! I just wish this company was more ingredient conscious, with that being said if you don't care about that kind of stuff it makes your laundry smell amazing and would recommend it to you!

The packaging of this product is so cute and the beads work sooo well! The smell is incredible! They really do help to hold in the fresh smell of your clothes a little longer than just using detergent. The only downside is that in order to get the desired effect, you do have to use quite a bit of the beads which means they do not last long. I received this product complimentary in order to review but the review is my own opinion.

I have used Downy scent beads before, and they are always great. I bought this as it was on sale. First, there is nothing April about the scent. It smells like cheap rosewater. It reeks. Instead of controlling odor, it is so overpowering it mask order or gives them rose odor. I actually used half the amount recommended. I had to rewash my cloths 2 times to get the rose smell out and they still have a lingering rose smell. I am returning this the next time I visit the club; Buy only is you really, really love a Rose smell.

It leaves a fresh smell on the clothes and a lasting one at that. I used it to wash my towels and it helped mask any smells that the towels may have been carrying. However, I personally did not care for the scent. I would still try these but hoping there are better scents available.

Downy Fresh Protect left a pleasant scent on my clothes, but it was pretty overwhelming at first. It was like a strong perfume for my clothes. There is no way my husband would let me use this on his laundry! I appreciated it for my workout clothes and jeans, though. Those are the clothes that i feel are in need of a little extra freshening. I tested Downy Fresh Protect for free, but all opinions are my own.

I tried this product on my son's smelly clothes that he brought back from camp. These clothes has been in a bag, damp from sweat and untouched for several days. The smell was horrible. Normal, I would have had to wash these clothes several times. After just one wash with the Downy fresh protect beads, the clothes came out smelling fantastic!! If it worked on these clothes, it'll work on any load. I received this product for free, but this opinion is 100% mine and real!! A must buy!!

I love this product, its so simple to use. Just toss it into your washer before adding clothes. Its great for anything youd use, such as blankets, coats, sheets, towels, socks, etc... The smell is long lasting and smells so fresh. It didnt cause any kind of allergic reactions. It just left items washed smelling good. Scents that smell good are so relaxing and using this to wash linens and blankets makes for a restful nights sleep. I used it on just about everything. I tested Downy Fresh Protect for free, but all opinions are your own.
