I grew up with my mom using Downey products. I use the fabric softener and dryer sheets. I have never tried to scent beads until I receive them in my influence vox. I did receive them to test for free and give an honest opinion on them. I use them in my workout clothes and they came out smelling amazingly fresh and the classic April fresh scent reminded me of my mom hanging laundry when I was a child. This brought it brought back a lot of good memories and is definitely something that I will buy from now on as part of my laundry products . The Scent has lasted about seven days in my closet and is still fresh.

I was sceptical - thought this was just another good smelling additive. But, I washed 3 loads of clothes with it before going to Las Vegas in July. I was very pleasantly surprised how well it worked - I packed Febreeze but never used it! I received this product in a Vox Box for free in exchange for a review. However, I really did love this product and will be purchasing some.

First, let me just say, I tested Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free, but all opinions are my own. I was thrilled to get this product because I love the original Downy Beads but had not yet tried the Fresh Protect variety. I am really impressed! I love the scent better than the original and I really LOVE that there is febreeze in this product!! I'm a pet owner so keeping from smelling like animals is a huge thing for me so with the odor defense feature, I feel more confident when I'm out and about in public. I'm really please with this product and I will be purchasing this again.

Having a division 1 sports student in the house you can only imagine the smell of her clothes. Sometimes I would have to wash them twice. This product is exactly what it says deodorant for clothes. It smells great! I got this product in a free promotion and these are my honest opinions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In order to put this product to the real test, I had to use it in the stankiest load of laundry possible: my dogs' crusty crate bedding. Even with regular washings, their crate bedding just STINKS. They must chew on the blankets...or wipe their butts and frito paws on them...I don't even know. But my normal routine is wash on Heavy Duty setting with detergent and scented fabric softener, dry in dryer, then soak in Febreze and set out in the sun for a day. That is the only routine that will neutralize that heavy dog smell within. I followed my normal wash routine, except adding in the beads to washer. To my surprise, the blankets came out soft, clean and smelled GOOD! No need for the febreze and sunshine. If I didn't know any better, I wouldn't even be able to tell that these were crate blankets! Thoroughly impressed with this product and I will likely buy it for special loads (such as musty towels, husband's National Guard uniforms, and that load of laundry that I always forget about in the washer for a few days).

This was something I was glad to get to sample free, I have not used Downey before or laundry soap in beads. I enjoyed trying something new! It worked great, the soap smells great and now so does my clothes. I will definitely be buying more of this product!

I received this item for free, but all opinions are mine, and I am so thankful I tried this product! New to fabric softener, I wasn't fully convinced that the "deodorizing" feature would really work on my husband's not so fresh work shirts. To my surprise, a simple toss of these amazing smelling beads left everything more than fresh and clean, but smelling simply delightful. I am more than pleased with the product. My husband was concerned that his sensitive skin may be bothered by it, but not a single complaint! Only praises for the great smelling laundry! Finally, wife points!!

I am a tried and true Gain Fireworks original user. I tried out the Downey Fresh Protect April Fresh In-wash oder shield, and I love this product! The scent is amazing, and stays with the clothes and towels for a long time. It is not a overpowering scent either. I am definitely going to start buying these from now on instead of the Gain. I received this product free from influenster for testing purposes and this is my honest opinion of this Downey product.

These in wash scent boosters really have a nice smell, and the clothes that i washed a week ago with these, still smell like they just came out of the dryer. I am going to be buying more of these soon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think I went into this one thinking it would be a back up to my deodorant. Well, it's not. Although it has a wonderful smell, I don't feel as if it did what I was expecting it to do. I prefer to use the normal pods. I still love Downey products, I just probably would get the other scents I love better.
