Calling all SPORTS MOMS..... i have found my saving grace in the laundry department. I washed all of the boys athletic clothes and added the downy fresh protect. I didn't know if i was noticing a difference until yesterday. I usually have to drive home with the Windows down after football practice because.....I'll say it.....my kids stink to high heaven when they step off the field. Yesterday was quite hot and Donovan looked like he needed a cool setting. So i rolled up the Windows, cranked the air, and held my breath. He leaned in to kiss me and say thank you........and that's when it hit me!!!!!! He smelled GOOD! I asked him if he sprayed anything on himself and he beamed......"no mom, that stuff works!!! Like FOR REAL" So.....there you have it folks......football mom approved!

These little wash in scent boosters really do make your laundry smell great. I wish the smell would stick around for a little longer but it's still nice to smell nice, clean, fresh laundry. These products were provided to me for review proposes but all opinions all my own.

I washed my boyfriends work clothes and threw the Downy Fresh Protect Active Fresh in-Wash Odor Shield in with them. His clothes came out of the washer smelling SO good and when he wore the clothes to work they stayed smelling good through a whole days worth of work! It was seriously like deodorant for his work clothes. I am definitely going to be using these for his clothes from now on! They were extremely easy to use, just toss them in with the clothes and viola! Great product!

I have been wanting to try these for a while. I finally got the chance and I immediately fell in love. There is nothing better than laundry that keeps the fresh and clean scent even after it is hanging up, and with the downy fresh protect this is exactly what happens. I tell everyone about them now. I received these free from Influenster however all opinions are my own! I really love these things!

I mean, they smelled FABULOUS in the package, but would my sheets really smell that good after a trip through the washer and dryer? I had tried other products before and found that my laundry smelled good out of the washer, but the dryer had sucked up every hint of fragrance and I was left with nothing. So, I threw in the little package I had received from Downy, and waited patiently for the washer to finish. I could literally smell the wonderfulness before I opened the washer lid, but still, would the smell remain after they were dried? I threw my sheets into the dryer for the ultimate test. I am happy to report that following the washer and dryer, my sheets smelled absolutely AMAZING!! I literally sat on my bed with the sheets packed into a ball and my face shoved into the middle for a long time. I went to bed feeling like I was in the middle of a flower garden, but not in an overly pollen-y kind of way. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THESE MAGICAL LITTLE BALLS! I will definitely be purchasing again!

Even my husband's work clothes stay fresh which is crazy to say the least. They are super easy to use and we'll worth it! ! The scent is amazing. #GotItFree #BzzAgent. The Downy Fresh Protect April Fresh In-water shield made my clothes smell amazing even days later I would definetly by these. I received my downy fresh protect from @influenster for free for testing but my opinions are my own and I would definetly recommend this product :)

This is a nice product, in theory. I expected it to make my clothes smell super great (because the beads smell AMAZING!), but once the clothes dried there wasn't even a HINT of the fragrance (I have the "April Fresh" scent). The smell was powerful coming out of the washing machine, but even the clothes that I air dried did not retain the smell. A bit disappointing, to say the least. I received this product free in exchange for my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am obsessed with Downy Fresh & Protect beads in Botanical Mist! Instead of using these as a deodorizer on my clothes, after smelling how wonderful the beads were I decided to use it on my bedding, instead! I love these little beads - they make doing laundry fun! I was so pleased that such a small amount went such a long way. My bedding smelled better than it ever had with other detergents, so fresh and clean. The smell reminded me of laying on a creek bed surrounded by wild flowers. The bedding was washed a few days ago, and still smells great. I know the product is intended for clothing, which is what I'll try it on next, but I will definitely be purchasing this product to use on my bedding from now on!

I swear these downy beads are the BEST thing that has happened to laundry! I love that even on the days I forget to spritz perfume I smell fabulous... And it keeps my clothes smelling fresh with the Febreeze Odor Defense! So easy to use too. My favorite is the April Fresh Scent!
