At first, I thought these beads were going to be a waste of money since the detergent I use already has sent in it but I WAS WRONG. I put these beads in with my shirts and they came out smelling 5 times better than when I only use detergent. I will defiantly be buying these since I have already used what I was given. I tested the Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free, but all opinions are my own.

A two year old in the summer means lots of dirt and stinky smells. This detergent easily got the dirt out and left a very pleasant smell on the clothes. The clothes smelled fresh (even after leaving them wet for too long) and I was happy to put my son in them again!

Before I received this product I never expected it to smell as great as it does. I would give this product an A+ and would recommend it to everyone.

I really love how fresh and clean my clothes smelled after I took them out of the dryer and especially days after they were washed the smell still stayed strong. Definitely making the switch to these fresh beads now. I did get to sample this product for free and was asked to review it.

The price would keep me from using this all the time. When I can buy a pod that does the same thing for my clothes and the smell lasts just as long why waste the money? Just seems like a repetitive action to me.

At first I thought that they would be rather pointless, but they really have a lasting scent. So much better than the other stuff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first saw the product downy fresh and protect on a commercial recently. I was definately going to buy it. I love clean smelling laundry and am a huge fan of the downy brand. So when bzzagent gave me the opportunity to try it free I jumped all over it. I used the packet on my sheets. I figured it would be great slipping into a fresh smelling bed. I was disappointed. The smell was nice, but very faint. It also seemed to fade away after just one day. The concept was good. Just wish it lived up to its claim.

I have used the scent boosters before and have always liked them, but I never tried this one. I used it on towels and it seems to work just like the other scent boosters I have from Downy. It is a fresh scent, and I would likely buy this one again.

This product has a nice scent to it and definitely made my clothing smell like if even though I only used 1/2 a packet for the load of laundry I was washing! I typicically purchase unscented laundry detergent so I was not used to the smell that was left on my clothing. I would suggest this to anyone who wants to eliminate bad odors on your clothing, while leaving a pleasant smell on your laundry. This product was also easy to use and dissolved in a load washed in cold water. This product may be good for college students to help freshen their laundry and for a load of laundry that became musty. I received this product sample free, but all of the opinions I gave were my own.

From the minute it reacts to the water in the washing machine you can smell the crystals before they even dissolve. As you are unloading the clothes from washer to dryer the aroma permeates the room.It is easy to use and the scent lasts long.
