I'm extremely allergic to this stuff, if I'm around someone who's used it for even a small length of time, my lungs get really inflamed and I can't breath. I'm going to have to quit my job because I can't be around these people. As far as I'm concerned it should be banned.'

I tried to use this product on the sheets for my bed and loved the smell at first. The smell faded after a couple days even though I was expecting it to last a little longer. I did received these products complimentary for testing purposes, however my opinion is all my own!

Tried Downy's Fresh Protect beads in 'april fresh' super easy to use, just toss it in before you start your wash. As soon as you open the packaging you get the fragrance. Finished my wash and tossed my clothes in the dryer. Once I pulled them out there were incredibly soft, placed them in my room. Hours later my room smells just like the beads. I'll definetly be using Fresh Protect more often. I received the product for free to try out but I really enjoyed the overall product.

For such small beads they sure pack a big punch! You can even smell them inside the package without the package being opened! They made my clothing smell wonderful and they made my clothes feel soft and this will definitely end up on my shopping list. They are perfect for all my laundry needs. I tested the Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free, but all opinions are strictly my own.

I absolutely love this brand and love these in wash odor shield pellets. They make my clothes smell so fresh and help shield odors. I got this product as a free test sample from Influester in the goddess voxbox, but will definitely be buying them in the future to use regularly with my clothes washing routine.

I was so excited to revive this product in my influenster voxbox. This product was free for reviewing purposes, and 100% my opinion. I am so in love with these beads. I love downy products already, but these are 10 times better. They make my clothing smell so amazing all day long. I will now only purchase these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Adding the downy fresh and protect beads to my wash changed the feel of my clothes and added a fresh clean scent. First off the downy beads made my clothing and towels more soft then they have ever been. I have always used a dryer sheet in steads of liquid softer because of the price difference. Which I love feel of the load of laundry I did with these downy beads but these beads are even more pricey then both so I probably won't buy them unless I have a coupon. Secondly, the beads smell just as good in the package before use as they do after the wash and dryer, it makes your entire load of laundry smell clean and fresh for about 9 days is what I have found with my clothes and towels. Last thing I would want everyone to know is if you have very sensitive skin then don't use these beads, my son and I both have sensitive skin and we both ended up having a bad red bump reaction from the scent because we normally only use clear and free laundry items.

Let me just say...if you want your laundry (even sweaty, gross clothes) to smell AMAZING, get your hands son this product. I usually rely on my laundry detergent to give my clothes a fresh scent, but decided to throw this in the wash along with my clothes to see how it works. My entire apartment started to smell fresh - like the scent of the beads. When I transferred the clothes to the dryer, the beads had disappeared and I was left with amazingly scented clothes that smelled even better after they dried! I put on one of my freshly washed shirts to bed and I'll be lying if I said I wasn't smelling myself every now and then...I just couldn't believe how good it smelled! If you have kids that are into sports (or teenage sons in general), this product will be your best friend!

Not with these fresh beads! I'm wearing a shirt I washed with them a week ago and it still smells super fresh. The beads are easy to use too. Just add them to your wash water. I will definitely be purchasing this product. It exceeded my expectations. I received this product free to try.

I used these beads on a few loads of laundry. It smells nice (it smells like laundry softener to me, which I don't currently use), and continued to keep smelling that way after a dry cycle. They're also kind of hard to use in a front-load washer. You can't put it in the detergent dispenser, and in sprinkling it on my clothes inside the washer, some beads always inevitably fell out, and after the the washer was done there were some undissolved beads that got stuck in between the door and the rubber lining the washer. Our clothes aren't particularly smelly, so it's hard for me to judge its value in removing odor, but if you want to give your laundry and extra dose of pleasantness you can try them out.
