I love the smell of fresh laundry coming out of the dryer. The beads are ready and easy to use just follow the instructions. If you are sensitive to smells I wouldn't recommend this product, but the smell is not overbearing. I did receive this product complimentary for testing purposes, but these are my opinions on this product.

Tried Downy Fresh Protect for the first time and I am hooked! Worked great on all my active wear (no matter how humid and sweaty I got, my clothes smelled fresh!). Also tried it on my bed sheets ~ and it is wonderful! Kept them so fresh and clean smelling long after just detergent and fabric softener has done in the past. I definitely recommend giving this product a try! I tested my Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free, but all opinions are completely my own.

I only use the beads on towels and other linens, because they can sometimes sit on a shelf for more than a week. But wow, i used the beads on a blanket and of course it smelt lovely after washing but about two weeks after storing it in a linen closet I pulled it out and it still smelt amazing. I think the lasting power is even better than their original unstoppables.

After using this product only one time I am a customer for life! It has kept my clothes and my whole closet smelling amazing for days and I have only washed my clothes once. No need to use perfume or lotion when you have clothes to wear that smell this good. I got this product for free for testing purposes but my opinions are my own. I have already bought more!

No more dog lingering scent on their bedding. I have to admit this is amazing and I also put in the gain pod which made it even better.

The blue beads were just the cutest thing ever. Upon putting them in my washing machine they started to sud. I like to see bubbles when doing my laundry so it was nice to see that. After the laundry was done my clothes smell nice and fresh. Definitely my favorite.

Everyone loves the smell of fresh laundry, right? I had only ever used dryer sheets and thought that was enough. Now that I have tried out the Downy In-Wash Odor Shield, I'm hooked - my laundry stayed smelling fresh and clean for days and the smell did not fade at all like with dryer sheets. I got to sample this product complimentary from @influenster for testing purposes only. All reviews are purely my own. I do love these Downy Fresh protector beads with odour shield. Easy to use; just put some into your machine's drum and start. Clothes are soft and smells nice. The scent is April fresh and it's quite flowery. I guess the scent deflects any odour that might be lingering on the clothes pre-wash.

To be fair, I have never needed more than some deodorant for my armpits. I can go through my day without smelling badly, so this product was pretty unnecessary for me. I didn't notice any major difference in the way my clothes smelled at the end of the day. If there was a difference it was slight. The beads smell great going into the washer and my clothes coming out smelling great out of the dryer, as usual. That said, I wasn't impressed and likely won't go out and buy these in the future. I'll save my money. Fair warning, I received this product for free, from Influenster. That said, my opinion is all my own.
