I received Downy April Fresh with Febreeze in a Voxbox. I have to tell you, I am blown away by the results. The hardest test is my boyfriends work clothes, and I can't smell the grime/grease anymore!! Since he's a welder it's an intense smell. I'm sold. It's true! Just a little sprinkle of this in your wash and it will be leaving your clothes smelling fresh and clean all day long with that fresh out of the washer smell! I live in an apartment complex and we have community washers/dryers available. Unless I purchase a product with a heavy fragrance, I tend to smell what the person before me used in their wash. I recently received a sample of this product from Influenster to test. I'm absolutely in love with the scent and amazed at how long it lasts! I folded my clothes and left them in the drawer. But the beads neutralized all the odors on my clothes all day long. it was like deodorant for my clothes because it kept me fresh all day long!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Downy Fresh & Protect Beads Botanical Mist are a great complement to my laundry. I added a few beads at a time compared to the whole packet as instructed on the product. Those were enough to give a pleasing and lasting scent to my clothes (5-7 days). The scent is retained even after the dryer cycle. That is definitely a plus point. I will buy them in the future.

I received Downy Fresh Protect in an Influenster box for free to try and review. I was excited to try this because my husband is a firefighter and his uniforms can start to go sour in the middle of the day while he's outside doing his firefighter thing! I washed his uniforms with Downy and he called me and asked what I had used on his clothes - the guys were asking. Downy made his clothes smell great, throughout the day. It also wasn't horrible when he dumped them off in the laundry room the next day! This is easy to use - just throw in the washer at the beginning of the cycle and that's it! The smell when you open the package is quite strong, but at least I felt it was going to work. I use regular Downy fabric softener often, but honestly, with my washer, it's a pain and my softener dispenser is always getting clogged (not Downy's fault). I will be purchasing this again, especially for the firefighter uniforms! *All opinions are my own.
