I used this product in a very smelly load of towels. While putting them in the dryer I noticed that they smelled great! After drying and folding the towels, they still smelt wonderful. After several uses of the towel, it remained smelling fresh and not musty at all. After about a week, I took another towel out of the linen closet, and not only did the closet have the April fresh scent, but the towel smelled as if I just washed it. I also put some of the Downy beads in my wax melter, and to my surprise the entire apartment smelled wonderful. I received this product free to test, but the opinions are my own.

I would be interested to try it again on my regular clothes, but im not sure how much I really like it to purchase a whole bottle.

These are great for my brother's clothes. He plays sports and this just leaves his clothes smelling fresh and clean. Now the bottle says use a cap full, that is way too much. I use maybe a quarter of a cap for a load and it's the perfect amount of fragrance without being too much.

I absolutely love the Downy line of fresh protect products. The scents are always pleasant and refreshing. I really like that the fresh protect line can take that "musty" smell out of leggings and yoga pants that have the smell of having been left in the washer too long. I received 3 sample sizes of the April fresh scent for free in exchange for my honest opinion on the products.

I combine this with tide and gain and once my clothes are done the smell is magical!!! I love it and recommend anyone and everyone to use it!!!!

My family and I are pretty active and are constantly trying to find products that helps our clothes to remain fresh and smelling great. I must say that after trying the Downy Fresh Protect April Fresh In-Wash Odor Shield I was highly impressed. The scent of the beads reminded me of running through a field of flowers and was very soft and refreshing. After a couple of days I even noticed that our clothes still smelt fresh. The Downy was super easy to use, you simply pop them into the laundry and then start the cycle. Packaging has nice spring colors on it. The Downy Fresh and protect beads are Amazing to say the least! I only had to use a little and it truly made a huge difference. Number one the packaging for the product is great , I love the colors as they do represent the product well (fresh, calm, clean). The clothes that I washed have my whole house smelling amazing and the smell lasts a very long time And it's not too strong .I am pleased with Downy , I have already recommend this to all of my family and friends.
