I love the smell of this. It makes my sheets, blankets, and clothes smell amazing for so long! It lasts well beyond the first day, and it is so easy to use! I love that it isn't a liquid product that can spill. I received a sample for review, but all opinions are my own. I really liked this product. I used it during my color wash cycle. I loved the smell immediately and love the fact that you can smell it through the packaging. The downy beads leave your clothes smelling good and feeling super soft. I tried this product for free but this is my honest opinion.

I am not kidding when I tell you this. My feet smell so bad. So I decided to wash my shoes with this. The odor was so bad you could smell it just when I take off my shoes. I used these beads and it literally took the smell away. I stuck my nose in my shoe and it smelled like febreeze. I don't make this up people! Why would I lie and go through all this work? Get some.

I received Downy April Fresh with Febreeze in a Voxbox. I have to tell you, I am blown away by the results. The hardest test is my boyfriends work clothes, and I can't smell the grime/grease anymore!! Since he's a welder it's an intense smell. I'm sold. Note: I tested the Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free, but all opinions are your own.

I love these Downy pouches with Febreeze. My clothes came out smelling great and it lasted until I wore them (1-2 weeks after wash)! They dissolve by themselves as long as you put them in when you turn on the water in your washing machine. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is that I like using natural products, and this isn't. I received these from from Influenster for my honest review. I was hesitant on using them thinking there's no way they work, but they do!! I accidentally left some wet blankets in my washing machine and when I found them the smell was horrible. I washed them again with these and they came out smelling amazing again. I've never smelled laundry this fresh. Definitely plan to purchase and use on my rough smelling clothes.

This was my first time using this product and I did as the bottle instructed. The product was placed in the washer first and then my clothes went in. I have large pink spotted stains on some of my shirts and all of my whites are now pink. This is completely unacceptable and I will not be using this product again.

I absolutely LOVED the smell of this product. I was given two small free samples, and I used one in my car, underneath the seat, and my car smelled so fresh! I appreciated the packaging as well, I didn't feel that my dog could get into it, and I could open it easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to try Downy Fresh Protect Active Fresh In-Wash Odor Shield because it sounded like a great product, and while I liked that I could still use my normal detergent for my HE washer and throw this in to give a boost of fresh scent, I realized very quickly that this is not an ideal product for a front load washer. The packet of little scented pebbles smells wonderful, so I enthusiastically threw them in with a load of dark clothes. However, as soon as I turned my washer on, the pebbles migrated to the front of the washer and got stuck in the seal where the water drains. Hardly any of them actually stayed with my clothes for the entire cycle. I won't be trying this particular item again only because of the type of washer I have. If you have a top-load washer, this would work well for you.
