I am in love with this product. I have always been a loyal customer to downy and have just about used every downy product. This is such a great ptoduct for my work clothes. At times my clothes smells from farm dinners where they grill at make food at the farm and the smell can be really bad at times depending on the wood they're burning. And now when i use the downy fresh protect with febreze in wash odor protect i dont have to worry about that scent lingering on my work clothes even after washing.

At first I thought this product was a waste not knowing what the product actually does, but once I used it the first few times I could tell a difference in my clothes instantly. My clothes smelled fresher for long and even felt softer. I love the packaging as well. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Downy Fresh & protect Beads Botanical Mist made my throw blankets smell better than before the dogs claimed them as their own! I was a little upset that my favorite blankets had become my pets favorites too, but the Downy beads eliminated all pet odor and left them smelling amazing. This was super easy. Just throw in the beads with the laundry at the time you start the washer. No waiting for a certain cycle or worrying about putting them directly on the laundry. The beads are totally gone leaving only the great smell by the time you throw them in the dryer! I would highly recommend Downy Fresh and Protect beads. These are perfect for pet owners or parents. We all know how stinky those kids can be!

This new product of Downy is such an amazing product! I only heard about this and I'm really glad I was one of the lucky people who were chosen to test this for free. I was really surprised that the fresh fragrant lasted long than I expected and my clothes do not need ironing. I also don't need to use perfume or cologne because my clothes alone are smell so good! Downy Fresh Protect April Fresh In-Wash Odor Shield works great! They are easy to use- just sprinkle some of the beads in your washer along with your normal amount of detergent and wash. My laundry came out smelling so fresh and clean. The April Fresh scent is refreshing and clean smelling. My whole basment, where my washer is, smells great now! I definitely recommend this product. I did my laundry 4 ago and the scent is still running strong! The smell was soo great my whole house smelt great! It also gave softness to my clothes and a freshness that I love. I am buying these each time I go to the store now!

Its has a nice smell that really gets to your clothes and just makes you feel so fresh and clean. I loved how its in wash its a great idea. I wash som of my intimates by hand and left some of the beads in the water STILL worked lol really stuck to my hands. Once my clothes dried the smell didnt dissipate. I will say that I usually wear a piece of clothing 3-5 times the smell lasts about 2-3 wears.

I don't normally use products like these but was glad I gave it a shot. The great smell lasts all day, I literally forgot I was wearing my normally smelly work clothes. Although I think you can get this effect from other brands or items, this one seems to last the longest. And I have to say, I did that thing you usually see in the commercials where they pull the clothes of the dryer and smell it and are so happy... that's a real reaction! I work out every day and my clothes smell pretty bad by the end of the week, which is why I've wanted to try this product. Regular detergent got my clothes clean, but they didn't have that fresh smell. The downy beads I threw in the washer and now whenever I go to put on clothes no matter how many days ago they have been washed, they still have that April fresh scent instead of smelling like sweat.
