[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite product was the Downy fresh protect in-wash odor shield, this product was my favorite because liquid fabric softener will freshen wear its placed and not add odor to all the clothes. Dryer sheet are good but I don't dry my clothes during the summer, I hang them outside. Downy did a great job with the fresh protect in-wash odor shield, I was hesitant to try them with the chance I wouldn't like the product but thanks to buzzagent, tide, gain, &downy I was able to try these amazing products which I highly recommend to anyone. I tried tide pods before but I loved how they upgraded to febreze. I also liked the gain flings which were awesome but then I tried the tide pods plus febreze and they were better but none the less they are all great product everyone should eventually try.

My son works in a fast food restaurant and his work clothes smell strongly of kitchen grease. I've tried many things to get rid of the odor and nothing has worked until I tried the Downy Fresh Protect. Now his clothes smell fresh and clean. I'm so happy to be rid of that fried food smell. All opinions are own. I received this free to try. The scent is pretty great smelling use them in the washer, My clothes came out smelling fresh and very soft. Not very strong and just the right kind of smell. I would definitely start buying these from now on!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried these new Downey beads in two loads on laundry. I am not much of a scent person and felt I needed to 1/2 the packet in two loads, which I did. I put the first 1/2 in towels and the second 1/2 in clothes. It was very easy to do, I just through the little beads into my front loading washer. After drying, my towels and clothes smelled wonderful. I will definitely be buying these again and can't wait to use these on smelly items, say my dogs bedding and sheets. Thank you.

I love these balls! I've been using these in my wash even before I got my sample. These leave my clothes smelling fresh, and delish, and I even think they make them a little softer. I always buy these and use these and wlll continue to do so. I tested my Downy Fresh Protect for free, but all opinions are my own.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Downy Fresh Protect, Active fresh! I recently ran out and cannot find it anywhere - not even online, so I truly hope this product hasn’t been discontinued as I have yet to find a scent or product that tops the downy fresh protect, active fresh.

When reading the label I was curious can this really make things stay smelling good with use. I decided a good test would be to try it on my towels. I often fell like after I use my towels they start to smell a little musty. After washing with the protect beads they defiantly had a strong scent of clean. Did they smell better? Yes, but it was just a mask for the underlying musty to come back. I was defiantly confused when looking at the packaging if it should be used in addition to detergent as if if was similar to a softener product or if it replaced the detergent. I also think it would be beneficial to know if this is targets more towards athletic gear or really every day. When I asked around to see what people are looking for in laundry care it was often one product that can fight stains, has long lasting freshness and easy to use and reasonable cost. I also got the occasional helps keep my HE washer clean and smelling fresh. I think this product has the ability to help with freshness. I did not notice any stain fighting.

Okay I know that may sound over dramatic but seriously I am obsessed with this product from Downy. My clothes smell so good after I use this in the wash. And the smell lasts for days! I can take clothes out of my closet or drawers a week later and I can still smell the fragrance. Honestly, when I wear this product I don't even want to put perfume on. I got this product for free for testing purposes but all opinions are my own! I definitely will repurchase.

I was very surprised when I tried out this product after receiving it for free. The scent is amazing! I could not believe that the smell carried on for so long as well! It's been a week and my clothes still smell fresh from my dresser drawers! Love it!

Clothes with the nice fragrance.. everyone loves that.. this product does the same. Fresh fragrance which makes you feel good when you wear your washed clothes. I got this product for testing for free but for sure will buy it again and recommend to family and friends too. Reviews are only mine after using the product.
