I love this product from Downy. I wash my clothes on a daily basis and this product leaves my clothes smelling good and fresh. I can never live without this now. It's very convenient to use since they are just beads. I always get compliments from friends saying I smell really good! Haha. Downy Fresh Protect April Fresh In-Wash Odor Shield works great! They are easy to use- just sprinkle some of the beads in your washer along with your normal amount of detergent and wash. My laundry came out smelling so fresh and clean. The April Fresh scent is refreshing and clean smelling. My whole basment, where my washer is, smells great now! I definitely recommend this product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy Fresh and Protect Beads were totally awesome!!! So easy to use, smelled great and continued smelling great for days afterward. I just added it in the washer with my clothes and washed and dried as normal. I have 4 kids and 2 dogs, I keep my couches covered with blankets for easier cleaning and to protect the furniture from stains. I washed those blankets with the Downy Fresh and Protect Beads and it totally impressed me! My entire living room smelled wonderful for days! I love this product!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When i saw this Bzz Campaign it got my attention right away. Once I received my Bzz Kit I specifically waited for certain items to pile up in our laundry. We live in south FL and being we experience sun, sun and more sun on a daily basis, my kids are usually looking and smelling like a pig pen by the end of the day however; my husband's workout and tennis clothes are always the "winners" in my laundry and disgustingly drenched in sweat....like I don't even want to have to touch them to load the washing machine! I figured his clothes would be the true test for these products. When washing my husband's clothes I normally have to use FOUR things during the wash cycle to get the sweat odor neutralized (the final step is usually white vinegar as my fabric softener!) so the clothes don't even come out smelling particularly "pretty", but they just don't reek like they did before being washed. This time I only used the Downy Fresh & Protect Beads Botanical Mist along with the Tide Pods + Botanical Mist as my detergent. I was skeptical at first thinking there was no way these 2 items alone could do the job when i'm normally using 4. I was anxious to open my washer when the cycle had finished and see how the products held up against the smelly clothes. To my complete surprise, I opened the washer door and was immediately hit with this very pleasant aroma.....Botanical Mist! I seriously could have sniffed my laundry all day! I put everything into my dryer and once it was finished I just couldn't believe how clean, fresh and soft my husband's clothes came out! The Tide Pods + Febreze Botanical Mist and Downy Fresh & Protect Beads Botanical Mist have truly impressed me and I will definitely be switching my process and making things easier for myself when it comes to my laundry!

I was surprised how much I liked this product! I really liked the idea of adding it to the wash to add freshness and fragrance, without having to deal with another messy liquid. Clothes came out clean like normal, and the dryer really kicked up the fragrance. I tested Downy Fresh Protect for free, but I'm definitely going to buy it now! I would be interested to try other scents as well!
