We are a small family of 3, I have a toddler and my boyfriend works 12 hour days in a hot, warehouse-type factory. He sweats so much that his clothes are wet when he comes home from work. I usually have to wash his clothes twice to get the smell out! I just bought these a few days ago and all I can say is WOW! My son is still in the process of potty training to urine scented bed sheets and blankets are gross, and the smell of sweaty clothes makes me nauseous. I can not praise Downy enough for this wonderful product! Not only do the clothes smell great straight from the washer, they smell great for days! :) I would definitely reccomend this product! 5 stars!!

I loved these beads. The scent was perfect, not too strong and not too light. They were so easy to use. You just pop them in at the start of your laundry. I received them in the mail for free as a sample but I will be buying a full size at my next grocery visit.

I received a sample of the Downy scent beads. I normally use the ones by tide so I was curious to see how they compared. With the tide product it took like half a bottle to smell anything with the downy product it took a quarter of the small sample bag to have a powerful fragrance. I definitely think the value is way better with downy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I was able to try out the Downy product sent to me on Sunday. You just put it in additionally with your detergent without having to worry if it will stain your clothes or not because they're like little pebbles. And as much as it's important for you clothes to smell good during the wash, it's just as important for it to smell good days or even weeks after a wash. It's been about 4 days since I've washed my sheets with the Downy & it still smells just as good when it first came out. Now, it's not as strong the first day but when you get a good whiff of it, you can definitely smell the scent on it. I'm always look for ways to have the fresh & clean smell of detergents & softeners to last for a long. Especially when it comes to clothes sitting in my closet. I'm sure anyone can agree that if they can pick up a shirt that they washed a month ago, & still be able to smell the detergent or softener, whatever they used is a keeper. Especially when you have kids & family members that are constantly getting dirty or sweating from physical activity.

I used this product as soon as I saw it. After all, there is always laundry to do and I was eager to try it. This product was easy to use and smelled amaaazinggg. It left my clothes smelling great and super soft. Even after time in the dryer, the clothes still smelled wonderful. I tested this Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

I love these odor defense beads! My bedding still smells wonderful 1 week after using. Socks still smell fresh at the end of the day. Using them for my washable curtains. Now we just need an odor defense scented Fabreeze as strong as the beads for items we can't wash in a machine.

I really enjoyed these! The scent was perfect and not overpowering in any way. I used it on my sweaty gym clothes and they came out smelling fantastic. I could still smell it during my next workout. I received these for free to test from Influenster, if I had a coupon I would definitely purchase.

Let me just say...if you want your laundry (even sweaty, gross clothes) to smell AMAZING, get your hands son this product. I usually rely on my laundry detergent to give my clothes a fresh scent, but decided to throw this in the wash along with my clothes to see how it works. My entire apartment started to smell fresh - like the scent of the beads. When I transferred the clothes to the dryer, the beads had disappeared and I was left with amazingly scented clothes that smelled even better after they dried! I put on one of my freshly washed shirts to bed and I'll be lying if I said I wasn't smelling myself every now and then...I just couldn't believe how good it smelled! If you have kids that are into sports (or teenage sons in general), this product will be your best friend!

I love Downy i love how soft it makes my clothes/towels feel. The scent is wonderful it's just right not to much or too little.
